    Always Rewarding
Rob and Seth are maestro interviewers. Conversations are always engaging and informative. If you want to learn the how and why about musicians you know and love, get acquainted with their episode catalog. A rich tapestry of subjects. Thanks for doing what you do!
  • Jbiddles
    The ultimate music podcast
This podcast is awesome. Turner and Seth ask great questions that go beyond the usual musician -orientated topics. Each episode goes into incredible depth and explores topics that you would not believe. Plus the guests are always interesting, from the best Jazz players bluegrass pickers, it’s all there.

    Phil Collins
Not sure why the Phil Collins’ banger “Inside Out” is not the permanent intro song. And Rob, slow down.No need to talk that fast the Cobham interview was unlistenable and he's my all time favorite drummer.

Great In Depth Interviews with Top Musicians
These are really highly researched interviews with musicians I love. They do their homework, have fun, and get a lot out of the folks they talk to. Check it out!

    Great show

Deep knowledge, big personalities and lots of good music
I enjoy that Turner and Seth get to the music quickly in each episode, and feature lots of it throughout. They don't waste time joking around and catching up on what they did since the last podcast at the start, which is common in many other shows with multiple hosts (my rule of thumb: if the subject matter isn't presented before I get out of the shower, then I typically never go back to that podcast). Plus, there's lots of great music, and both hosts have a great deal of knowledge of many kinds of music, and their research work on backstories and histories shines in this series.

    Good Content, Questionable execution
"Are we all in our cars?" sums it up Planning ahead and a little audio engineering would go a long way in this show

    Well-researched & Highly informative
The show is an nice blend of humor and banter with absolute deep dives into the backgrounds of the guests. The Salmon Dusters episode, for instance, felt like a 21st century jamgrass history lesson. Turner & Seth’s style leads to some unique dialogue, and the industry insider perspective is fascinating. Top notch stuff here, folks.

    Cool, Insightful and VERY Entertaining
Thank the maker that this podcast is out there. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I picture one of you as Jack Black because of your voice. I won't point fingers. But, this actually is as entertaining for me as if you WERE Jack Black. Good times, good interviews and I've picked up some new music to listen to from this even!

    Always a good listen
Love hearing the behind the scenes and directly from the artists, with a side of the Odd Couple commentary. A true one of a kind podcast for music lovers.

    Great podcast
Two hosts work well together, making sure each aspect of the conversation and music industry are covered for every episode. Continue to listen, even other week!

    Patience
I'm listening to the Bakers Dozen recap show. All I'll say is it's interesting to listen to Scott Bernstein's Patience wither away as the reviews of each night progressed. The hosts are a 50/50 mix of real Phish knowledge and stuff about Phish you'd hear on Phantasy Tour. Wow. Some great insight and some horrifying fake Phish news. Poor Scott. By night 8 he couldn't pretend to laugh or just follow along on a tangent that is going nowhere fast. This episode must have taken more out of Scott than 13 nights of Phish.

    Very Insightful
One of my favorite music-related podcasts! The interviews are incredibly insightful for such a niche scene. I look forward to the new episodes every two weeks!

    Interesting mix
I like the mix of general interest interviews with musicians coupled with sessions with folks working behind the scenes at music events.
