If you’ve never seen Judy on stage in person, that is an absolute must. She prompts some of the best reactions from her audiences, treading into controversial topics from novel and creative ways, always in jest. Her barbs are legendary. She has also been in the business for 4 decades and brings a wealth of connections, knowledge, history, and context to standup comedy and comics that is worth tapping into. Her podcast largely explores the standup comic industry but veers at times into politics, LGBTQ+ issues, Jewish civil rights, democracy, and more. Her podcast is a release valve worth your time because Judy channels our outrage in a way that no other comic can. Simply put, Judy is a national treasure. Listen to this podcast!

This is my favorite podcast. I’ve been a fan of JG for decades and she’s the real deal! I listen all the way by to end every time. I do love her interviews, but I loved Judy’s solo episodes the best!

I’ve loved Judy Gold for years and feel like podcasts were created as a platform - for her. I love hearing her perspectives - always informed, always intelligent. I almost drove off the road hearing her 7/23 Crate&Barrel saga. But I didn’t so I got to hear all the rest of her episodes. I’ve learned from her as a result of the revolting, appalling events of the past 18 months; her point-of-view and ability to drill things down to barebones has had a lasting effect. Easily one of the best 4 podcasts I listen to. I wish we were friends. No one does free-flowing rage like she does.

So energized by her rants ! Marching around the kitchen sounding off along with Judy feels so good ! Banging the pan down on the stove going, " That's right !" Or disagreeing and slapping the cabinet door closed going, " What are you talking about ?". I need this level of energy to power me through, so thanks for stirring the pot.

Judy Gold tells it like it is, especially these days when we all need it. Her 4/29/24 Columbia interview, which was really a fabulous, chaotic rant against everything that makes no sense these days, was hands down the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long while. I wish it’d been 3 hours longer. I’ve shared it and re-shared it. March onward, Judy, and thank you. PS: edited to add that every other episode since then has been, literally, PERFECT, and I am rewarded every time for listening until the bitter end. Best podcast out there.

I am not a particularly passionate rageful person. So I am inspired by Judy’s voice. Her outer voice is my inner voice, and I am grateful for her. And her podcast. Amen.

Love Judy’s sense of humor and her rants that are actually quite informative and helps to shed light on real issues that are facing our country today. I think she is spot on, and I love the fact that she’s willing to go there and say things that all of us are thinking and feeling, but putting her own brand of humor on it.

Her honesty, her rants about Israel/Jews/antisemites. Read her book, I laughed the whole way through.

When I was coming out (gawd, twenty years ago) I would watch anything w Judy Gold—queens of comedy, 30 min sets reruns on Comedy Central—and now, as an outspoken and proud American Jew, you’re at it again. thank you for all the laughs, you don’t even know how much you’ve helped me be comfortable in my own skin, Judy. “So long-g-g-g-g-g!” 😂

I hate the new theme song. I’m sure I’m in the minority on this. I much prefer the lilting voices of the Barry Sisters. I’ll just have to tap fast forward a few times at the beginning of each podcast.

It’s the new podcast I didn’t know I needed. As a longtime fan (in Los Angeles) that can never see Judy perform live as an East coast comic, the podcast is like getting a weekly dose of the specific comedic stylings of Judy Gold instead every blue moon.

I’m here because my Aunt Judy (not really but it feels that way) told me that she needs these goddamn reviews. This show is a great listen, it’s like sitting down for a cup of coffee with a hilarious friend who tells fun stories and sometimes yells supportively about Jews and Israel. I was an avid fan of Judy Gold until October 2023. She connected me to my Jewish elders, some of whom have passed away, like I was talking to family. Unfortunately, she has since closed herself off to people like me. I am Jewish but I am not a Zionist. Recently, she said "98% of Jews are Zionists." That is incorrect. I've been wanting to write this review for a while now. Judy, I was someone who listened to the end, every time. I can no longer listen to this show. I hope you are open to listening and to change.

Judy’s rant from April 29th was perhaps her best rant yet. Moving and poignant. The Columbia student interview was great.

I recently discovered Judy’s podcast and cannot thank her enough for sharing her humor and intelligence with us. During these dark times, her voice is exactly the remedy I need to cope with a world that seems to have gone mad. She is a fabulous interviewer, but her solo rants episodes are equally entertaining and thought-provoking. I have never written a review before on a podcast, but I want Judy to know how much I appreciate her personality and talent. I hope you continue the podcast for years to come!

Why aren’t they speaking out?? They speak out for non Jewish issues but for their own where are they????
