This is a great podcast that covers relevant topics in 1/2 hour or under. Well worth a listen - Alonzo is both funny and factual.

Decided to up the reviews by 1...just for luck. As the 667th review, I give Alonzo 5 stars because his on stage comedy is HILARIOUS! This podcast however is much heavier. He uses it as a platform to rant about all that ails him. It can get really deep and sometimes TOO SERIOUS, but it shows the other side of a Comic. If you are a Die Hard Democrat, then this show is for you. If not, then listen cautiously because you might decide to punch your device in the face!

After thoroughly enjoying Alonzo's podcast, I just listened to him on You Tube. Thank you Alonzo for making me laugh and cleverly saying everything I think too! It is a crazy, scary world right now but you make it OK to laugh about it

Alonzo, you asked for feedback so here it is. I guess I should say that I’m a suburban white guy, to give you context. So for me, your take on the news is totally new and different than most of what I hear. So don’t cut back, lean into it. As you said listenership is going up, so maybe there are more like me that are joining in.

I’m here to eavesdrop on an interesting conversation… I am fan of Bodden’s laugh deep powerful voice, but wasn’t a big fan of the solo episodes. There are plenty of podcasts with news content and unending pundit-style monologues. It the conversation that makes this a fun listen. More please.

Aren’t you being as much a hypocrite as the ones you are jawing about?? You are traveling ,you are out in these venues, etc etc etc. I won’t leave a negative star rating but your hypocrisy this episode did strike a chord with me.

So used to be one of my favorites- I mean, comedy for days. Now, after watching The Comedy Store docuseries, I found this podcast and I have to say, I’ve never been more disappointed in someone of a caliber such as his in my life. ‘Right wing’ saying fake news? My God, Alonzo, remove your head from your rectal cavity; try being objective for even a few minutes, without using your fallback position of the plantation mentality your deities have fed you since birth. Stick to what you know, and politics definitely isn’t your forte. I don’t understand the insatiable need to enter the foray of politics if you’re unwilling to employ logic and reason by seemingly everyone with even a smidge of notoriety. STOP IT RIGHT NOW. You’re funny, do that! I could have gone my whole life without having these ‘famous people’ trying to condescend to those you don’t understand, and worse yet, don’t care to. I have a funny feeling every single cast I subscribed to from the docuseries is going to lead me down the same disappointing path, but off I go to give the next one a try. Bye Zo, been a nice 20 odd years, but I’m done.

Alonso is at the top of my list of comedians and a great human being. I first saw him on TYT Network and started following his podcast after I walked away from the political sites. I love political humor. I love Alonso’s sense of humor and general view on the state of things. Who’s Paying Attention? Like the man says. I am. I look forward to his podcast every week, and I always break out in a smile when I see the newest one drop. I hope to catch you live here in Denver some day. Keep up the laughs, they are the best medicine in these misanthropic times.

I enjoyed him when he was new on Jay Leno. I have several of his CDs. I am enjoying his weekly musings on our society and current events. Catch him here and a concert near you. And don’t eat while listening unless you plan on spraying food on those close to you. Very funny.

Been a subscriber for several years now. I appreciate your observations and unvarnished commentary on what’s happening in our world. Sure, this podcast isn’t slickly produced (and it’s true that you should silence other devices and any of your computer’s notification sounds while you’re recording), but the few negative reviews I’ve seen are missing the overall point. I have been a fan of your comedy for years, and I enjoy what you bring to the Panel on “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.” But never was I under the impression that each podcast episode would be a glossy recording of your comedy act. Hearing your thoughts on the issues is why I subscribe. If you say something that makes me laugh, well, that’s a bonus! 😊 Who’s paying attention? I am! Thanks, Alonzo!

This show is pretty bad. It’s not funny, nor clever, nor interesting, nor is it anything really worth listening to. Sorry but just unbiased opinion as I’m trying to find something good to listen to.

I liked Alonzo for a while, but he can’t go through a podcast without calling people racist. The president, the police, etc. he’s very smart and does good analysis on subjects, but come on man not everybody who isn’t black is racist

I tried listening to podcast but lost interest when the president bashing started. The only reason most hate trump is because he ain’t black. I used to love Alonzo and his comedy but he proved that he is a biased individual.

Alonso needs to have a beverage near him or something! The constant lip/mouth smacking is disgusting and distracting. It’s no different than nails on a chalkboard. The device he has going off in the background from time to time is also annoying. Shut it off or put it on silent for crying out loud. This makes the pod seem half 🤬.
