First STOP with the politics just STOP! Tell the flipping story! Also the two females voices are just too squeaky like little children tell the story and the formate is too dry. I do agree we need criminal Justice reform.

Not here for tiktok talk or chit chat. Wasn’t here for true crime 101 either and I turned it off 10 minutes in. As unimaginative as her book titles.

I love Tori’s Criminal Broads which featured excellent writing and narration so I was happy to welcome this pod. But this co-host’s voice and presentation are grating, and her yammering is not on point, sounding more like a social influencer than any kind of authority on her topic. I’ll follow Tori almost anywhere but this show dilutes her talent. Moving on.

You can’t say you’re for victims but against the death penalty. I do not want to be preached at by ppl who like to judge without knowledge or empathy. Was the death penalty corrupt in the past? Maybe, however with video and dna evidence we can get a positive id on perpetrators now. Also, ppl get let out from life sentences a lot, look at Karla Homolka, we need rapists off the island if you’re going to torture ppl.

I have to unsubscribe because I can’t listen to them making all these noises while someone else is talking. It’s so distracting. Once you hear it you can’t unhear it. I wanted to like this podcast- I like the content but it’s too hard to listen to.

My new favorite true crime podcast!

Me thinks thou both protest too much. When the hosts do stop talking about themselves they talk about the victims by talking about how they respect the victims somehow more than other true crime coverage by saying they do? Huh? Either do a crime podcast or don’t. This is a podcast about two crime podcasters In their own words. I found it way too aggravating.

I appreciate that they talk about both interesting crime stories without it ever feeling exploitive or gross. I appreicate the focus on respecting victims.

I love this podcast, it’s very respectful to the victims (something I always look for in a true crime podcast) while being informative on the cases. It also presents ways you help with true crime, which I really enjoy. Can’t wait for more episodes!!!!

Heard Tori was back on the podcast scene and RUSHED over to give this a listen and I’m so glad I did!! Can’t wait for more episodes!!

But would like to shelf this. Terrible. Loved Criminal Broads with Tori Telfer but this is just annoying and terrible. Sounds like a couple board housewives. I'm a woman and all for woman led shows but nothing like this. I was seriously disappointed and if I was able to give nagative stars I would just so others don't venture down this bad podcast. So very bad. Upset I listened the whole way through. Over an hour of my life I will never get back. Other reviews must be paid bc it's backed by discovery. Trust me if you are into true crime you will be upset if you listen.

Big fan of true crime stories. I felt like I had to skip like 15 minutes of them talking just about themselves, I understand it’s the first episode, but seemed a bit long of an introduction of the Narrators. I also didn’t feel like they talked on the title subject well. 100% my opinion. The other part I found kinda weird is the emphasis on how much the two women dislike the use of Internet searching for crime scenes and labeling it with “porn” is really taking it out of context, yes it’s not for everyone and it’s not for the faint hearted, but to say it’s offensive is not true, you cannot deny that murder happens, IT’S AWFUL, but it’s almost as though you try to shame the victims into being these unrealistic outcomes of life. Educate the information, do not cancel the information. Many people help search for victims and further investigation that are tips found by looking at crime scene photos. I understand that a big portion of what they were talking on was that places like Google and Facebook were just allowing this young woman to be exploited after death, through the use of sharing and posting for “click bait” and these big tech companies had zero compassion to the families. As well as trying to profit off people’s death, is not a great look either. But researching crime scenes is very different for exploitation, and I felt like they just lumped “crime scene awareness and research” in to cancel culture. I know this is a newer case and that it’s still on trial, I just would have preferred more info on the investigation side of the true crime ideas, the text messages, a more in depth history of the murders past, witnesses accounts if there had been any, if it seemed premeditated, what psychiatrists might have to say. Gone more into the warning signs or Red Flags, if you would, of how this situation came to fruition, like different online conversations or other situations that had taken place, multiple opinions on the individuals, etc that might give other people the ability to avoid the same fate. It seemed weird that an Investigation Discovery TV podcast was basically saying all that ID TV does and is associated with, like looking and going through crime scene and murder photos and sharing these stories and potential warnings with others, is offensive.

Enjoyed the first episode and love how the hosts Tori and Karina do more than report on the crime, they ask what can be done to prevent future cases. It’s nice to see support for the victims, not glorification of the killer. Looking forward to seeing what else comes from this duo!
