Maybe one day we’ll all realize that doing a podcast isn’t as simple as coming up with content and speaking into a mic

Long time listener, first time commenter! Hi! I’ve been listening to Mark and Brad for years but it’s always just been a background noise show for me not one I was like counting down the days for new episodes. But since Mariel and Kayla have been filling in, I can’t wait for new episodes each week hoping Mark and Brad haven’t made it back yet. They pose such interesting questions and discussions that really keep me thinking. I often end up bringing those topics up with friends and we have some really great talks! It’s probably weird to hope the real hosts never come back but I’ll always cherish however many episodes we get with Kayla and Mariel!

These are some of the most talented people who are incredibly funny. The Rooster Teeth company has something for everyone, this one might be for you. No, it wasn’t for me, but I gave it a full listen, and I hope this continues to grow; there is definitely something here to nurture to a bloom. Perhaps I’ll try again in the future.

As a longtime listener to this show, I must say that I absolutely love Mark and Brad!! As a straight white male, they have been my two biggest idols for the past several years now, and I tune in excitedly to hear their opinions on all my favorite subjects. Their cold brewtcha ideas sound FANTASTIC and I have doven headfirst into the bunker market just as they suggested!! I can’t wait for them to be back next week (the producer said they’d only be gone this week so I’m not too worried) Thanks!

I had no idea what I was getting into when I started listening to the show. At first I expected another bland, popular culture podcast that the internet is littered with. What I didn’t expect was some Grade A improv, with genuinely hilarious moments and a mixture of out of left field weird but interesting knowledge. Highly suggest a listening to!

Don’t tell Mark and Brad, but since their departure this show has only gotten better. I don’t even use this app, but this podcast is so funny I had to leave a review to support it.

This show is hilarious, I want sure after the first episode but the second one really got me. I especially love the crazy updates from Mark and Brad.

I listened to the first episode. It’s like dipping your toes in the water to get used to it. Then you’re like “okay, maybe I can wade in it”. The moment during the second episode describes how horny James Joyce is for his wife, it’s like getting slapped in the face with a hot beach ball and you realized you’re at a party and all your friends are on their social A game. Will listen to more.

I mean, after more than 271 episodes, you’d expect things to get a little stale, but no!! I simply never tire of Mark and Brad’s classic banter! Just an excellent, fun time with two cis white men. Why aren’t there more podcasts similar to this???

In the first episode, Zoey sounds like the person that was pulled to literally about everything. The go to person for about anything. “You do the marketing? Yes. You do the finance? Yes. Wait, you said you were HR. Yes. Which one? Yes. I have had one of those jobs at a hotel where I was front desk, housekeeping, engineering, and even night auditor. So far this show has peaked my interest. Also Mariel Salsado is a gem.

Like DO lesbians eat vegetables? What is Canada, and aren’t the hottest girls the ones who have IBS? Kayla and her crew of behind the scenes queer women are such natural, funny and appealing hosts. Highly recommend for a funny, surprising and addicting podcast that seems tailor made for me. Thanks Mark and Brad for getting detained in Mexico and leaving the reins with your staff. May you never return! <3

I was literally just complaining about how my podcast feed had too many white guys in it and this is literally the perfect show to fill that void that was in my heart. Kayla, Mariel, Zoe and their guests are uproariously funny, I can’t believe how hard I laugh listening. Love the show, keep up the great work!

Fantastic podcast, I’m glad that this exists.

I enjoy the improv and the world building as they go with each episode its a nice break from the usual podcast that i listen to that really just talk about daily life stuff. Also a queer women whos BIPOC its nice to have this podcast on a very personal level. I truly am tired of not having a diverse content to consume specially in a podcast format.

Can’t believe Mark and Brad have been hiding all this talent behind the scenes for so long! It’s refreshing to consume content that I feel seen in as a queer black woman and i’m kind of hoping Mark and Brad don’t ever make it back to the office? Is that wrong?? In all honesty though Kayla, Mariel, and Zoe are an engaging trio who make me not embarrassed to still be a fan of Rooster Teeth based content. I truly believe in them and am hopeful for the direction podcasts like this could take us in as a community. Truly just a fun podcast that makes me feel like I’m hanging out with my friends, laughing at random stuff, and enjoying getting to live life.

Dear Mark and Brad, Please provide your producer, Kayla with a raise, effective immediately. She brings joy and laughter to the once very dull podcast. Thank you, Maggie

As much as I love Mark and Brad, I’m absolutely loving the breath of fresh air Kayla, Mariel, and Zoe brought to this episode. 269 episodes of guy talk just gets...a little repetitive after a while. So yeah, fully digging this. And honestly, if Mark and Brad find themselves away from Texas for longer, I wouldn’t mind a bunch of rotating voices from the office.

On Monday, March 15, 2021 at approximately 4:00 pm CST on a RoosterTeeth/Achievement Hunter Livestream where Kayla, the host of this podcast, was a guest, Kayla stated active and intentional discrimination against CIS males. It was stated guests will only be comprised of individuals who are not CIS or are females, to be included. Based on what was said & where the host is employed, it also seems unlikely the guests will cross the political aisle at some point either. I don’t believe in active discrimination against any group or that more discrimination leads to less discrimination. Fruit of the poisonous tree. Just another echo chamber.

Mark and Brad are great but on the newest episode they couldn't make it, so Kayla, Mariel, and Zoe took over this week and really made an amazing podcast can't wait for more of them!

I was getting a little tired of Mark and Brad so glad to hear some new voices finally. 10 Stars.

This is a podcast I can get behind. It teaches you things, it gives you mystery(s) that keep you second guessing things. I’m quite interesting as to where it will go from here.

Going into it I really though I’d miss Mark and Brad, but boy was I wrong! Kayla, Mariel and Zoe make this 269th episode extra wet with comedy stylings sure to pleasure you and all your non existent animals! Can’t wait for more.
