Been a fan of this podcast for 10 years. I’ve met the hosts before. Very kind and genuine horror fans who love what they do. The show is fun and entertaining. When you watch enough horror you start to appreciate the light hearted comedy that comes with the genre. These guys get that as well. So if you’re looking for a fun horror podcast by passionate genuine people then look no further. It’s Horror Movie Night!

These guys talk about 95% of the movies they watch with disdain and hate. Constantly talking about how they could do better or how they dont really enjoy the movie because its beneath them. Further they get extremely hateful to the cast making personal attacks but pretend to be holier than thou and its disgusting. I would love a podcast that tears apart -their- physical looks and lack of talent like they do to some people. Scott specifically is an intolerable waste of protein and a hypocrite who will talk about how (example Bloody Murder 2) he enjoys the scantily clad women (and thats fine!) but then goes on to shame the actors in the movie for feeling the same AND shames the actresses for being losers in a bad movie... If I could launch ONE podcast into the immolating heart of a dying sun to burn forever I dont know if its this or Joe Rogan.

So many iconic movie recommendations over the years that has grown my love of Horror tenfold. HMN forever!!

Horror Movie Night has become my favorite podcast. It genuinely feels like hanging out with friends has opposed to other pretentious shows. It’s a show by horror fans, for horror fans.

Audio levels are a mess. Also, there are plenty of podcasts of people who think if they have a mic and know two cuss words, they are worth listening to. The world doesn’t need another podcast like that.

I enjoy the podcast at times, but I feel like it would be so much better if Scott wasn’t interrupting people and being so loud in the microphone.

Not good All the one guy does is cry about everything

I queue up a bunch of these for longer drives. It’s like having my buds in the car and we’re just riffing on all the schlocky stuff we’ve come across over the years. The only time I heavily disagreed was when everyone on the podcast trashed mumblecore movies from the mid 00s…tisk tisk

The guys on this podcast have good chemistry, thoughtful insights, and plenty of laughs. It’s like hanging out with your friends talking about movies, and sometimes where they digress are the most fun of the show. I really enjoy this podcast.

A very fun and enjoyable listen. Matt, Scott and Kyle know their movies, and inject a lively conversation with interesting info about the various colorful personalities who populate the world of low-to-no budget horror movies.

I love horror and really love B-flick horror. These guys always give a great and usually hilarious synopsis of some of the worst horror films ever made. They do include some of the good ones too!

HMN is like having a hilarious convo with my friends about something I’m passionate about. I always wish I can chime in, too. Keep up the good work, boys!

Fun to listen to!

Love hearing these guys talk horror. Great show and always covering some of my favorite movies. I mean they just did “Brainscan” 5 Stars All Day Every Day.

The way I view movies is, whether or not they are entertaining. When podcasters break apart movies politically, I have no time for them. Was a good show, why couldn’t you keep films in the realm of their entertainment factor? I’m good, was a good show…

Have listened to this podcast since Adam was a host. Even back then I noticed there was one host who in EVERY podcast (until Brian came on board) had to out in at least one comment to get his "SNU-SNU" catd punched, mostly P**sing down the neck of those whos shoulders he stands upon. Then came episode 339, the ONLY episode I turned off EVER!! Why would I turn this one off you may ask, well it was when their guest personally ATTACKED a WOMAN and neither of the MALE hosts came to HER defense, thru their SILENCE approving the personal ATTACKS of WOMEN they mey have a political difference of opinion why. Great way to REPRESENT there guys.

Just discovered this one! Nice pace and isn’t too long.

There’s one requirement to like this show, and it should be pretty obvious from the name. If you like horror, you’ll enjoy this podcast! From tackling the issues at hand in horror to figuring out what it’s all really about. Tune in and join the horror movie night party!

The best podcast I have ever listened to. So funny and great!

A pocket of the horror community that is inclusive and willing to talk about trash movies as well as good. Always love their commentary and to anyone complaining they need to just reanalyze their own lives

Haven’t we had enough of this, already? I couldn’t handle this one for too long. First, how old are these guys that they don’t know what Mumblecore is (at least the one guy)? It’s not that obscure a genre. Also, if you have a relative surface knowledge base of movies and filmmaking, you know what it is. Also, just because someone doesn’t have a full script doesn’t mean it’s not a valid way of making a great movie - it’s just a different way. Just like a scripted movie, it can turn out good or bad. Also, it’s “improvisor” not “improvist.” I just can’t. There are so many of these podcasts, with bruh hosts pretending they know film when they don’t. This is one the worst.

Decent podcast... 2 out of the 3 host are really easy to listen too, until the One co-host complains entirely to much about the “straight white male” and everything from the 80s and 90s is “misogynistic” . If you want 15 minutes of horror talk and 15 minutes of soap box talk. You found your podcast.

Two of the casters are good and insightful. They have fun. But for the last 5 episodes the little one has to whine about white people. I get it, You gotta squeal about the evils of whitey every 5 minutes, but stop it.

I eat a lot of red meats so needless to say there’s a large chunk of my week spent in the bathroom with my pants down and tears in my eyes. This podcast is just what I need to distract me from a week of bad dietary choices. The hosts have great chemistry together which makes for a fun listen. They also are very personable on their Facebook page so they make you feel like you’re not just another nameless face in the crowd. I’d say more great this about this show but I’m going to need both hands to brace myself for another push. Give the show a listen for yourself!

What a phenomenal show. Especially the cohost Brian. What a kooky energetic guy. They should change their name to “Brian Kelly and the dum dums.” I need more Brian in my life, except for the live-streams. They should stop doing those since they clearly add unnecessary stress to Brian The Great. It’s about life, family, friends and all the things that make us smile and reminisce about not only the good times but the bad times and we as fans or I believe family are always there with support also the amazing and funny content that’s available thru their patreon is well worth the small donation

I have been listening to this podcast for a couple years now and it never fails to entertain me and make me laugh! I enjoy that they cover such a wide variety of horror movies (the bad cheesy B-list ones are always a lot of fun). I highly recommend, especially if you are a horror nerd such as myself!

I love spending my car rides listening to these three disuss terrible, terrible horror flicks. They are a fantastick team who love what they do, even if they despise the movie of the week, and also appreciate their fans. I am not a fan of horror (unless you count Ernest Scared Stupid or The Ghost and Mr. Chicken) and have only seen a handful of the films they have discussed, but their movie knowledge and comedic bantor are what make this such a fun and enjoyable podcast for me to listen to. Great work guys....thanks!

I don’t understand how they can watch these movies, like all of them, from beginning to end. I try to watch them, I really do, but man they are not good. Fun and unique perspective on the trash they watch. The three work well together, but Brian is by far my least favorite.

These guys are pure fans of horror movies... Not just the good in horror but more importantly the bad in horror. The guilty pleasures in horror is their wheelhouse. Always fun and engaging. Hang around and pick up on the inside jokes. Definitely worth the listen.

These guys are fun, intelligent, and always have interesting commentary in their podcasts. I love what they have to offer to the horror review world. The only unfortunate thing is they will not review FEAST 2: SLOPPY SECONDS. HMN is and always will be my go to horror podcast. I love everything about it.

Great and knowledgeable hosts that bring historical facts, great takes, and humor to horror movies. From the schlock to the classics, they cover a lot of ground. Highly recommended!

HMM has been the most entertaining podcast for me for about three years now, and I think it’s only going to get better. Anyone who enjoys the ridiculous and absurd side of horror, anyone who remembers days of VHS style grindhouse flicks of the ‘80s and ‘90s will enjoy HORROR MOVIE NIGHT. Each episode is like getting to hang out with your best friends, and I look forward to hearing from these guys every week.

They sound good and worth a listen but you will find yourself screaming at phone when they don’t know even fairly common knowledge of horror.

If you wanna hear a couple of the biggest snowflakes doin a podcast today just listen to the Tales of the Hood episode, it’s almost comical to hear these guys dance around the racial tones of the film so much so that it’s racist, relax guys it’s just a film

Great personality

I enjoy listening to <Scott interrupts to start talking>. I wish tha-<Cut off by Scott’s opinion> Matt has thoughts <Scott shouting about Matt’s opinion>. I could do with a little less <Scott stumbling over words as he interrupts> All in all I do like this podcast, I just wish I could hear more from Matt and Bryan <Scott goes off on yet another rambling aside>.

Definitely one of my favorite podcasts I’ve listened to in forever!! They say everything I think and they review movies I swear no one has ever seen but me!!! So worth the listen!!

These guys have excellent banter, interesting and informed discussions and still manage to crack me up, all while having excellent taste in music. Bravo!

I have recently just started listening to you guys and I am hooked. It brings back so many memories to hear you guys talk about some of these amazing movies. I listen to you guys while I am working.

I found these guys from Reddit and while that is probably never the best recommendation, I can honestly say the last year and a half it has been a joy to listen to these guys (and gals, thanks Katie!) talk, muse, get angry and generally shoot the you know what over trashy horror movies and recent delights. They have a great chemistry and it honestly feels like listening to a group of friends that you already know and can call friends yourself. Do yourself and your earballs a favor and subscribe to this lot. You won’t regret it.

I really enjoy listening to this podcast. While I don't always agree with them, even when I don't agree I am incredibly entertained.

Listened to one ep. they basically just talked about the kills like a couple of teenagers.

If you love horror movies this is the show for you, the hosts really seem like they know what they are talking about and it shows. I'm always a little too much of a wuss to watch horror myself, but I enjoy listening to them recapped while sitting in my well lit office at work.

The metal intro is great! I like that these guys are willing to watch any movie that their listeners suggest, which I'm sure can be hard. There are a lot of bad horror movies out there. They go into way more detail on these movies than I thought I ever needed. Now I can use this podcast to save myself for only the best horror hollywood has to offer.

Really enjoyable chatter between some horror flick buffs. Easy to listen to and the episode I listened to had something for everyone it seemed. I found the Willard episode which brought back memories because it was the first date I went on with my now wife back in 2003. Solid recap of that crispin glover classic!

This is a great podcast! I’m a big fan of the horror genre and as a movie podcast host myself, it’s always fun to discover new ones! Horror Movie Night is pretty hilarious. The banter is wonderful and I could see myself chatting it up with these guys for hours. Recommend the IT review if you need a place to start!
