Emilyapolis1We can't see what you are holding up!I certainly enjoy the content but found it very distracting that the host would show a book (to a YouTube audience?) but not tell the podcast audience what it is.

gjvfuddcyjbohihCould use some workThe interviewer listed the title of all 20 of Hollis’ books in the intro? She literally read them all. Bizarre behavior from a seasoned podcaster. Why not just say his works are linked in the show notes? Just an automatic turn off.

YentrovEpisode 137 is an Infomercial w/o substanceAfter 10 minutes of an overly lengthy resume of vague skills and offerings and more info on remote applications that services are provided there wasn’t anything memorable that I would want to tell anyone.

horsefeatZero knowledgeI could have a more informed, dynamic conversation about Jung and analysis with a sock puppet operated by a possum. I do not understand why this exists.

DME_SkiWonderful and CaptivatingI just recently came across this show (August 2023) after delving into everything I can about Carl Jung since this past July. (About 15 or more years ago my Freudian-influenced psychotherapist recommended Carl Jung’s memoir but I never read it as I have difficulty reading.). Fast forward to July and synchronicity led me to the documentary, “Hermetic Jung”. Thinking it was about being a hermit, which I was for five years back in the 1990s, I decided to continue watching it even after realizing it was not. My life (which had been very much lost at that point), was about to change. Now I’m here. I wouldn’t have been ready for Jung 15 years ago. Now I am and I’m so thrilled to find Laura London especially because she is SO very protective of Jung and those who love him. I can’t tell you how refreshing that is because over the years I was presented with a Jung in bumper sticker terms featuring quotes I just found out he never said or which were twisted to the maker’s personal interpretation of Jung to their own leaning. I want Jung directly. I’m looking forward to hearing more from Laura and this show. Thank you so much, Laura London.

Wally CockcroftThis show is superb.I really don’t know what’s more special, this show and the work Laura is doing sharing Jung’s work, ethos and spirit…..Or the fact that In his definition, I’ve found this show and Jung’s work in the most definitive example of synchronicity I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’m speechless on what this has done for me in my life. It’s the breath of fresh air I’ve been seeking for years and a lifetime. Thank you, thank you, thank you Laura. And even more so to Dr. Carl Jung. 🙏

!Satya!Thank you Laura!I just watched your recent “message for the Jungian community” on YouTube and loved it. Thank you for not holding back and for your bold and honest expression. I have listened to many of your podcasts and appreciate your clear communication and conversation style, as well as your commitment to presenting Jungian ideas with authenticity. Please keep doing it and I’m sorry to hear you aren’t getting the support you deserve from the Jungian community. I hope they all reconsider after hearing your very honest, effective and apropos rant!

napoleonsmomBTSI adore this podcast so much and find so much wisdom and fascinating insights here. I’m deeply grateful to be able to listen in, however, I find all the BTS subject matter to be difficult to maintain interest in. The amazing people interviewed about this subject loose credibility in my mind because it just seems so far off from Jungian theory, philosophy, and depth.

weeded outMasterfulThis is a wonderful public service not only to therapists and analysts but to anyone interested in philosophy, healing, and human potential. I listen to these talks on repeat. The UFO/alien discussions—while occasionally interesting—begin to feel a bit convoluted in a Jungian context, though. Especially when it gets into subterranean reptile species and other sci-if hypotheses. It would be much more prudent to keep the focus on the brilliant Jungians who agree to interviews.

Danielle 💕💕💕Interesting until the Trump propaganda startedLoved the content until guests who claim to be “scientists” were given a platform to explain why trump was the only presidential candidate that could “keep the world together”; which is an extremely irresponsible stance to take at best. I’ll be unsubscribing now though so feel free to carry on.

Matthew AucielloA Little Jung, and Some Added Unnecessary QuackeryLoved loved loved the interviews with Jungian analysts. However, the “Quarantine Series” makes no sense at all. You’ve captured the attention of folks interested in Jung (hence, the podcast title), and are now interviewing arrogant astrological quacks who claim (with absolutely zero evidence) to be able to do things like predict the future, and who have no credibility in any scientific field whatsoever - yet repeatedly claim to be a “scientist” in the interview. SoJ interviews used to start by asking the interviewee how they came to be an analyst, and sometimes discussion about what training was like. Maybe the same can be done with folks who have expertise in . . . Fortune Telling? Someone knowledgeable about Jung’s work in the paranormal would recognize where and why he “pulled back” from certain subject matters or refused to make definitive claims about certain phenomena. Starfire Tor is the perfect example of what gives Jungians (unjustifiably) a bad name. (I should note that I LOVED the interview with Rick Levine - an astrologer worthy of immense respect because he knows when people are taking these ideas into the realm of delusion and how to keep them embedded properly in context.) If you want to offer suggestions or polite critiques to Laura via email or Facebook - spare yourself. She responds very defensively, and will apparently block you for even the gentlest remark.

2daseaLaura Rocks!Great interviews, and fascinating topics all with explored through Jungian perspective.

bentlightEp63: Articulation of Musical DilemmaThis episode in particular has helped me to pull into focus a fundamental issue that l’ve been wrestling with, reconciling a depth sound practice and Jungian influences. It is too much — and unsuitable, really — for a review to contain, but I appreciate this immensely. Thank you.

trigveWait, what?Maybe I missed it...but what happened to Jungian analysts? My listener feedback is, please don’t abandon your guiding mission. There are so many Analysts who are astrologers. My vote is, find them. Thanks for all you do Laura.
-
Sammpling99GreatThank you for your interview with Dr. Murray Stein on Map of the Soul: Persona. I found his interpretation enlightening. I loved his take on each song and their lyrics and how they made several Jungian references. I will look forward to more interpretations of the rest of their trilogy with Shadow and Ego. Lovely podcast!
