They certainly tried hard, but it was very annoying to hear the robots. I did only make two episodes in. Not an ounce humor and for something under comedy should have something.

This podcast is my happy place. When I need to escape from everything going on in the world I play Marscorp. This is my third time listening to it and it gets better every time.

A very enjoyable listen

Situational comedy with the super cool premise of a group of terraformers who won’t stick to the mission (a plot worth exploring for sure!). But for me the plot and character development suffer from the sitcom format. The elaborate sound and voice work are highly stylized & cartoony, and though extensive sometimes make the dialog hard to understand and painfully jarring to hear through earbuds. The humor emphasizes the worst things about people & life, so be aware there’s a lot of dismemberment, death, manipulation, sexual harassment, the cannibalism, corporate cruelty, etc., and in a way that seems to deliberately avoid any deeper meaning or things to relate to or learn from. With the lack of “meaning,” that leaves just the humor as the hook. Apparently it’s a type of humor lots of people enjoy. It makes me feel pretty sad, tho, when it lacks bigger context. If this had more coherent plot thread or character arcs I’d probably be all in, despite the style of humor ... or maybe it simply would have been more enjoyable without a marathon listen? Check out the E.L Hob episode from the Human Capital season (the latest one right now) for an extra audio treat.

If you liked Hitchhiker’s Guide, you will love Mars Corp. It is so very funny and well made - the audio quality is INCREDIBLE.

Just started the podcast but this is so good and funny! I love all the characters, the voice actors are superb, and Mars Corp is such an interesting and intriguing world. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a weird but fun sense of humor.

Love everything about it! Seems that gems like this are popping up all over. So glad I started exploring podcasts. This is top quality humor, voice acting, and production. Probably my favorite sci-fi comedy I’ve listened to or seen (check out Hyperdrive with Nick Frost).

It’s a lot of fun, with quirky humour that catches you unawares and yet makes you smile even more than much more overt humour. Really good - give it a listen.

The story could get a little hokey at times, but I was entertained from start to finish.

I think this might be the best fiction podcast out there right now, and I’ve listened to allllll of them. If you’re looking for classic British silliness in a sci-fi/workplace comedy adventure podcast, this is your holy grail.

As usual, the plot's filled with contrivances, massive amounts of induced stupidity, and characters that are better defined as caricatures. Sorry you don't get to see me rant this time, there's just too many of these.

Hilarious and bleak in turn, this show has made me laugh so so hard in every episode. It's a beautifully realized world and cast that you get invested in even as they make terrible mistakes and die in goofy ways. I love this show.

Good acting, good storyline

Truly amazing podcast. Hilarious and inventive at every turn.

Hilarious take on the science fiction genre following colonists on Mars! The quick wit and subtle humor makes this adventure a real treat. Even though it's a comedy, it doesn't shy away from drama, and the story leaves me wanting to know more right away. Highly recommend this show!

This and their other podcast are my favored things to listen to and I can't wait for them to make more, I love it so much it actually made me get off my Duff and rate it

MarsCorp uses its wacky sci fi premise as a springboard to launch into hilarious parody of modern corporate culture, while at the same time dealing with topics like loss, gender identity, relationships, AI rights, and totalitarianism. It is mandatory listening for anyone who enjoys audio drama. The writing is fantastic, and the production quality is among the best out there. My only complaint is that they havent made season 2 yet!

This podcast only gets funnier, darker, complex and interesting the more I listen to it. There is always another layer, another something to latch on to that you've missed. I've listened 3 or 4 times... to all of it, and I STILL find more to love about it! Listen already!
