As an immigrant myself, having moved to the US (immigrated when I was 12 from South America), I find it amazing to identify my immigrant experience with those of Frank's guests (and Frank himself), even though their stories are in Germany. I've been learning German for the past two years, and it's been a great reward to reach the point where I can understand the interviews. Frank has a talent for subtly digging deep and getting his guests to open up and share truly moving experiences.
