Gave this a 1 star initially after Mark Long’s comments at a Billy presser. Have continued to listen and they’ve grown on me. They don’t sugar coat. I don’t agree with probably 50% of the things they say but they keep it real. They got me on board now and locked in. If you want a fun and goofy pod, this isn’t for you. 2 accomplished reporters with loads of experience throwing out facts and their opinions. This is a much better listen than stadium and gale and those other pods. Continue the great work gents from a US army vet!!

This is my go-to Gator Podcast. Edgar and Mark are two of the best real reporters on the beat. They have great sources and know the insiders giving them info to break stories. The format is excellent and it's easy to listen to. I also enjoy the weekly discussion about the lesser known sports during the Foley's Corner segment. Keep it coming guys!

It’s not because of the content of the podcast. It’s because you deliver every single story in such a negative manner that it turns people off. Not saying you have to be a sunshine pumper or do every show with orange and blue glasses on. Just try not to be so negative all the time.

My favorite Gators football podcast! Love listening to Edgar and Mark discuss the Gators, lots of information, insights and history.

I am a UF Journalism graduate and have no idea how either of these men get paid to cover Florida. They are so negative and spend a lot of time complaining how the coaching staff doesn’t make their reporting job easier. Edgar is a big reason why I no longer subscribe to The Orlando Sentinel. Lazy journalism. There are plenty of people covering Florida Gator athletics who actually report factual information about the teams instead of constantly bashing the team. I can’t imagine that the Florida athletic PR team would let either of these guys near the players.

Absolutely trash. I thought we were muschamp was still our couch by how much he’s talked about. Nothing at all is uplifting. It’s constantly down. I’m all about being real but dear lord. Just give it up y’all are terrible

You’d think a beat writer would put some effort into learning how to pronounce players’ names. That’s not my only complaint, but it’s super annoying. Overall , Edgar’s pod is very low energy, drab and just all around meh.

It’s bad enough that ET is the Sentinel’s writer for the Gators, but listening to his voice is just too much.

This is different than some of the other Gator podcasts. Edgar comes with a true beat writer perspective. Doesn’t make the podcast any better than the others, just different, which I like.
