I had started falling away from your show because it was becoming very “water is wet” informative but with this last guest; episode 324 on revelation; your guest basically spends the entire show calling anyone who looks around the world and sees some real Nephilim days of Noah looking weather hitting us as being ignorant. She basically uses the whole show to say revelation isn’t even relevant because we don’t know the exact day or hour. What was the point in Jesus showing John all of this if we are to just gloss over the entire book as being irrelevant? I pray Buck that Jesus gives you the eyes to see and the ears to hear those trumpets. God gave Noah 120 years to build his ark.I pray for my own selfish reasons, that these later days we are in are the beginning of 120 because I don’t wanna be here for what feels like has started to come our way. Godbless

Joe Biden is not a Boomer. He’s a silent generation which is the generation prior to the boomers. Nice rant, but deceptive. Truth is only 4 presidents have been boomers. Clinton, Bush jr, Obama and Trump. There are 7 presidents who are from the greatest generation. JFK, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan and Bush sr. Boomers are blamed for their own failures and the failures of the silent generation too. When people complain about boomers quite often they use silent generation people as the example. There are many more generations than the overly simplistic notion of boomers and everyone else who is younger. Just wait and eventually your generation will be the evil scapegoat by younger generations.

I pick and choose which episodes to invest my time and energy in, I’ve never been disappointed. I appreciate the perspectives of guests on the show and how well the host reflects and moderates. As a parent and listener with kids, I would love to see or hear a brief disclaimer ahead of time if guests use profanity or references abuse during the episode. That way I can save a particular episode for a later time. Thanks for all you do!

Buck’s style of interview is so refreshing and his conversations are so refreshingly civil. The topics are great and seeing the evolution of Buck and being introduced to the subjects he approaches has been constructive to my own growth and thoughts.

You can clearly tell Buck is a recent convert based upon his zealous advocacy of his faith. That is not a bad thing per se. I’m more glad than anyone that Buck has come back to Christ but his show has become less about politics and more about his specific religious denomination. As of this review his last four guests in a row have been related to the Orthodox denomination. Thus, his show which was about giving voice to alternative political perspectives has become about giving voice to one religious perspective. I’ll listen again once there’s a guest that has nothing to do with the orthodox faith.

I love his voice, number 1. It starts there, then comes his clarity. It rings like a bell. Then comes his humility. It leads me toward something that I dare call grace. I am so grateful. Thank you Buck Johnson <3

I don’t know how I failed to leave a review until now, because Counterflow has become one of my “must-listen” podcasts over the last couple years. Buck is one of the best, most prepared and meticulous interviews you will find out there, and his growth since moving beyond his libertarian phase has truly been a wonderful think to watch. If you realize that the battle at hand is a spiritual one, be sure to listen to Counterflow to get thicken that coat of armor for what’s to come.

I enjoy the interviews with interesting personalities that Buck is able to find to discuss very interesting topics. Some of the personalities I have not even heard of before hearing them on Counterflow.

I registered to vote at age 18 as a Democrat and have been Republican for the rest of my 57 years. This podcast has challenged me. Especially with the condition of the country and the world- freedom is the biggest issue of all! I think my hubby and I have flipped a switch!

Been listening to Counterflow for about 3 months now and I have found this podcast to be one of the most digestible shows for my Daily 3-hour commute. Buck is an outstanding and well-mannered interviewer with a humble bedside manner and a voice primed for NPR which is rare but refreshing for Podcasts in this Genre. The exchange between Host and Guests always feels like a conversation between old friends. I’m happy to have found Counterflow because it’s introducing me to vocabulary and reading material that further strengthens my resolve in conversations related to politics, culture, and philosophy. It is a nice tool aiding in my exodus from mainstream media and the Political Binary. Keep up the Outstanding work Buck Johnson! My present and future self-appreciate it greatly. I hope to make it to one of your live events in the near future!

I’ve gotten to the point where I never skip an episode of this show. Buck clearly makes a point to speak to people who are saying something unique even to people on the fringes of allowable opinion. I’ve learned a lot. Buck also has such a pleasant voice.

Buck is just amazing at what he does. Some of the most intelligent and thought-provoking conversations have been broadcasted on counterflow. A variety of great guests, in-depth philosophical arguments, and as always that smooth silky voice. You the man Buck!

It sounds familiar but I’m having a hard time figuring it out

I am so glad I found this podcast! Buck interviews the most interesting and knowledgeable people in the freedom movement and he does so with great ability and wisdom. He asks the questions I want to hear answers to, and he probes ideas that are relevant not just in this moment but that are timeless because they relate to our human condition. If you love liberty and human flourishing, if you want to get a dose of sanity in our current insane political environment, then you need to listen to Buck Johnson.

I found Buck’s podcast over a year ago, but it really became a must listen pod during COVID and the election season. I’m so tired of most libertarian minded podcasts that proclaim that there is no difference between the left and the right. Buck sees that the danger for our country is coming from the progressive movement on the left and he does not shy away from tough topics.

If you are into hating things for imaginary reasons this is your show. People like this need to be stopped the same way someone setting fires needs to be stop. Freedom isn’t built for prix to ruin life for everybody. This fatheaded moron is not your friend. Lose him and every idiot like him and you’ll be better off.

This is a great podcast for hearing different freethinking viewpoints. I’ve learned a lot from this show. Check it out!

Some of the very best podcast episodes I’ve listened to came from this podcast. Sometimes it’s very intense, sometimes chill. Great interviews, solid red pilling. Buck Johnson is doing humanity a great service.

Buck Johnson’s DTT Show is one of the most intelligent shows you will listen to. Great guests, great hosting, great discussions. Buck is the real deal and his show is a must listen.

Buck is truly a great dude. I haven’t missed an episode since I started listening a few months ago. Cut through all the autistic libertarian fluff and start listening to DTTP!

If you are interested in liberty and libertarianism ideas this is a great place to start, or to deepen your knowledge. Buck hosts incredibly interesting guests, and interviews them with impeccable skill. Each episode ties to something going on right now, even as ideas are discussed at a level higher. No ranting and raving here - just excellent idea exchanges between intelligent and insightful people. I always learn something, and come away feeling better knowing there are thinking people yet among us.

Recently stumbled across this gym, can’t figure out how I didn’t know about it. A political perspective given a much needed voice, and A+ lineup of guests. Love it!

Not good at all

This is the perfect podcast. The Death To Tyrants podcast brings amazing guests every week that have enlightening and provocative ideas to share. Dedicated to anti-establishment and libertarian ideals, each episode somehow finds another A-list thought leader of today. Buck has the ability to ask the most poignant questions to allow his guests to shine, removing himself in an interview style that had been lost by our generation. This is a can’t miss weekly podcast that will make you better informed than all of your friends while keeping you on the edge of your seat!

I’ve been listening to Buck for the past year and I am so impressed and proud of his growth as a host. Audio quality is great, speaks clearly and concisely, he gets amazing pro-liberty guests on, and he tackles all the topics of life that liberty touches. Keep it up!

Killer pod cast ! Super informative , nicely structured and well produced show , great interviews ! Buck is a full on bad ass !

It's wonderful to hear well thought out interviews with points of view and research that you don't hear on mainstream media. I'm always fact checking which is so hard to do despite the vast amounts of information we now have through technology. Buck and his guests present more factual, unbiased information than you will find in the majority of "news" shows.

One of the more concise and digestible libertarian shows out there. DTT trims the fat and explores topical issues/events through the lens of true Rothbardianism. Little if any “inside baseball” makes it stand out as a philosophy first, politics second podcast. Make no mistake, Buck knows his stuff, but he lays it out for anyone to understand. That said, DTT is an excellent choice for those that are newly exploring these ideas and for long time proponents of the liberty movement.

Buck Johnson and ‘Death To Tyrants’ is a podcast that should be listened to and shared amongst anyone who believes that American Foreign Policy has lost its way from the foundations of the Constitution. The guests and the interview prep by Buck keep the conversation on point and laser focused on the topic du jour.
