    Excellent!!
Autism, spectrum disorders with Julie Rau is so informative and leave you feeling hopeful. I don’t have a child with this disorder but have friends who do and it was so helpful to learn more. It feels like it could be exhausting and I’m so thankful for these parents, grandparents and community that support parents going through this. Thank you for sharing!

    Life line
I’ve been listening for 4 years and this podcast is a life line for me. I have a teenager and an early elementary aged child. There’s no where else I can go and find regular content for both stages!

    Best Parenting Resouce
This podcast (and David and Sissy’s books + resources) has been essential in my parenting journey. If you want to raise worry-free and resilient kids this podcast is a must listen!

    Staple Parenting Podcast
I've been listening to RBG for at least a year (time gets murky when you have littles), and it's been a great source of wisdom and encouragement. I wanted to especially shout y'all out for having Drs. McCaulley and Tisby on - it's great to be able to hear from people who are modeling how to pursue justice with strong truth and grace, particularly concerning how to raise kiddos who do justice and love mercy. Thanks y'all for all you do!

    Jamar Tisby
What a great episode! There were several points of wisdom & insight shared by Dr. Tisby. Thank you for bringing forward one more fantastic example of what it means to parent well!

    The best!
I’ve been a listener for quite some time and they recently visited my kids school, I cried listening and meeting them. They were so fast to hug me!! They’ve been life changers for me and my parenting I’ll forever be so grateful for them and this podcast!

    Cannot recommend enough!
David & Sissy are beyond kind and generous with their wealth of knowledge. I truly finish each episode feeling inspired and encouraged on this parenting journey. We are so thankful for the work they do! They may not know it, but they feel like best friends and I recommend everyone listen to and read their work!

    1,000 hours outside
Just listened to the episode with Ginny Yurich, it was very encouraging! Go listen and then get outside with your kids! So many pearls of wisdom in this episode.

    Go-To Podcast!
I tell everyone I know to listen to David and Sissy! I started listening when my first daughter was born and have been so thankful for the consistent guidance and truth I’ve cleaned from RBG ever since. Every parent needs this resource!

    I miss the early episodes
Updated review- I still love the content that Sissy and David put out week after week. I’ve been listening for years, from my first to now fourth baby. However, there are so many more ads since joining the That Sounds Fun network of podcasts. That’s been a real bummer to the otherwise top notch podcast. There have also been a lot of questionable guests (mostly prompting books) lately. The Katie Curic episode was very uncomfortable.

    Thankful 🤍
I truly could not be more thankful for this podcast! I learned about it from a friend years go when I shared my struggles as a mom learning to navigate the boy world (coming from having all sisters!) Now having 3 young boys & 1 baby girl it is a constant source I go back to over and over again. I have gleaned so much wisdom, encouragement and practicals to put into practice. Sissy, David, Melissa and crew - thank you for everything you put into this podcast! It has been and continues to be an invaluable gift beyond measure!

    The best podcast!
I love starting my morning commute listening to David or Sissy! They take so much great insight and helpful tips on how to raise our children to be great young adults 💕 Cannot stress how much finding this podcast (and their books) has changed my parenting game and outlook! Highly recommend! ✨✨✨✨✨

    Practical & Uplifting!
I really, really love this podcast! It is such an encouragement to me in my parenting journey. The guests David & Sissy bring on share their insights and perspectives for every stage of parenthood. I always look forward to new episodes and walk away feeling prepared, rejuvenated and energized for the task of raising 4 children. Thank you David & Sissy! Keep up the excellent work!! 🙌🏻

    My favorite parenting podcast
Sissy, David, and Melissa bring thoughtful, encouraging, and challenging topics up with grace and truth giving practical advice and perspective. They have wonderful guests. This is my number one recommended podcast.
  • letterwriter21
Lots of great guests and info
My only reason for knocking off a star is the ads have gotten excessive.
  • SamCGK
Landyn Hutchinson doesn’t know anything about parenting!
Always an insightful podcast— although extremely disappointed to see you had Landyn Hutchinson as a guest. If you even take a peek at her social media you will see she should NOT be handing out parenting advice. Her whole life is fake and she just wants so desperately to be famous. This guest booking really makes me question listening going forward.
  • xennialkat
    Couric episode is strange
I love the ages and stages content of this podcast! The most recent episode with Katie Couric is rather unorganized and strange. The part where she quotes sex in the city while Sissy laughs was a departure from what I thought this podcast cared about, and made me sad.

Where did the old podcasts go?
Hi! I have returned to the “are my kids on track” podcasts of the different stages of the development over and over again, and now I can’t find them on the podcast. They were from 2018 and were with Sarah Bragg. I may be missing them…can someone tell me where they ran off to? They are an invaluable resource!

    Best parenting content I’ve found
Such a wonderful resource as I navigate parenting 2 boys. This podcast has great info, it’s comprehensive and real. Don’t hesitate to listen! One small negative: the ads are excessive.

    Changed me
Found Sissy on Annie years ago and it forever has changed me. When I met Sissy a year ago I lost it by trying to tell her how grateful I am for her and David. Such a gift to this parenting generation! You all are changing lives.

    Siblings Episode 🔥
I appreciated the “Helping Siblings Become Friends and More Parenting Wisdom” episode. I really resonated with Luke’s strategy of including his daughters in his interests. When we found out we were having twins, our number one goal was to make sure they are friends. We’ve succeeded so far. Now we have some more tricks up our sleeves.

    A must listen
I’ve been listening for a few months and have loved every episode I’ve listened to. I have especially been loving the “stages” series! Best part, this is such an easy way to invite my non-believing friends into conversations that will serve their hearts + minds in ways they may not be expecting! Praising God for this resource!

    A breath of fresh air
This podcast is truly a moment of peace and joy in my 4-boy filled days. It’s refreshing, full of laughter, and a great guide for parents like me who didn’t have great parental guides.

Great for parents, what about kids?
I love listening to this podcast! I always find relevant tips and reasons to hope. Would Sissy and David consider doing some podcasts for kids? My daughter read Braver, Stronger, Smarter by Sissy and it helped her so much! She’s dying to meet Sissy. It would be awesome if every once in a while the podcast was geared towards kids and they (the kids) could hear the voices and wisdom of these great counselors speaking right to them.

    Not even a parent…
Not a parent but I work with kids and David and Sissy’s wisdom is unmatched! So so thankful for their experience and wisdom and willingness to share it with the world!

This show makes me a better parent
Hands down, one of my favorites. I am continually trying to give my daughters the best mother and I did not have a great example growing up. So I learn through content like this. There’s not a day goes by that I don’t thank God for podcast like these. If this technology had been around 30 years ago my life would look so different. I’m so thankful for you Sissy Goff And David Thomas. Team Queso all the way ☀️☀️ Christy McGowan, Alabama

    Life changing parenting podcast
This podcast has been life changing to me as a parent to girls and boys. I wish I could fly to Nashville and just talk with Sissy and David. They are SO wise and their advice is practical and necessary in this day and age. Thank you for this podcast, and can’t wait to read more of your books!

    Graceful
As a mom raising 3 boys under 4 years old I am so thankful for this podcast. It provides such wisdom and practical help when the day to day feels overwhelming. I have also loved all of David Thomas’ books, and they have greatly impacted the way I parent. I’m so thankful for the work you do! Also, Sissy, you have the most warm and kind voice - I’m so thankful y’all started this podcast!
  • JGremmer

    So many commercials now
I get it we all have to make money but one 20 minute episode had 3 ad breaks… I do enjoy the content and your wisdom.
  • Cmdmom
    Wisdom!
This podcast is my go to! They provide wisdom and encouragement every single time. Incredibly grateful for you Sissy & David!
  • kyliemagyar
    Too many ads recently
I love love love this podcast. I recommend it to every parent I know! I listened to a 20 minute episode and it had like 6 ads. That’s way too many, they usually don’t have that many and it gets distracting
  • raywater
Amazing content! And way too many ads!
Great podcast. The recent seemed like 50% ads.

5 Star Review - Dr. Tay
I love that this podcast is centered around understanding and providing practical strategies for families. It is such a great resource and so many topics for parents to explore. I love how the hosts are counselors who work with children and share their insights with their audience.

    This show is so helpful
I just want to say that I’m so glad I starting listening to Raising Boys and Girls. I have a 6 yo boy (Cayden) and a 4 year old girl (Eliza). In this season in my life and theirs the tips and just hearing about others struggles and successes in this show has definitely helped me become a better momma. Keep up the great work you all are doing!

    Encouraging Show!
I first listened to this podcast when there were just one or two seasons and have recommended it to so many fellow parents. I loved the walk-through of “Are My Kids on Track?” I love the interviews with parents of different walks of life and experiences and ages and stages. The encouragement to keep working through *my own* stuff and to grow with my kids and through parenting has been gold and a needed reminder. I love that we keep getting to have the podcast after they joined the “That Sounds Fun” network. And the production quality is great now. The “host-acted” ads are off putting because David and Sissy seem so genuine and sincere when not being paid to read a script. But it’s worth it to push through those to get the good stuff!

    Way too many ads
Love the show but there are way too many ads. The episodes are very short so the ads take up a lot of time.

    So Helpful
Hands down the most approachable and helpful parenting podcast I’ve ever listened to! Incredibly insightful and super practical.

    Must Listen for any Parent
This podcast is such an encouragement for parents. I love how Sissy & David give practical advice & resources and it’s in a very accessible teaching style.

    Trusted parenting resource
Starting with going to their in person talks, to reading their books, and now the podcast. Their content has been a go to for our family. Further, the guests on the podcast have been a great introduction to other topics to dive deeper with too. 100% recommend!!

    Not just for kids…
We don’t just benefit from this podcast in the relationship of a parent to a child. We benefit also from the Father’s heart, to our own. He sees and knows and loves us. Every human needs to hear this. Thank you.

    Reference: S4 E23 - Uninformed and Harmful
I have been listening to this podcast for a while, and have really enjoyed much of the content, until I listened to this episode. The comment made regarding gender and sexuality was extremely disheartening, not to mention uninformed. If you are not a doctor who specializes in gender, or God himself, then you should not be trying to “speak truth” to families who have children who were either diagnosed with gender dysphoria or who are questioning their sexuality. Please do better and keep your opinion to yourself so as to not alienate those whose reality is much different from your own. The church is in trouble, and this is for sure one reason why.
