Tao of Our understanding Alcohol Recovery Podcast

Buddhism #57

In this podcast, we discuss mystical works of literature, primarily Taoist text, and how they relate to alcohol recovery. Taoist Philosophy can be an excellent tool for embracing the idea of a “Higher Power.” Nature offers all of the examples necessary for a concept of a source of all life, much different but yet very similar in many ways to more traditional religious thinking. Here is a link to an online version of the Tao Te Ching; https://ttc.tasuki.org/display:Year:1972,1988,1996,2004/section:1 Thanks for checking out our podcast. Thanks to everyone who makes this podcast happen, from Buddy to Marla to Craig to Lala to everyone else who cares enough to share their time, thoughts, experiences, and wisdom. I listen to every episode right when it comes out, and I’ve listened to several more than once. I appreciate the diversity of perspectives.

    Synchronicity at its best!
As part of my spiritual practice, I very recently started combining the teachings of the Tao with my Christian practices. This podcast came to be at the perfect time! Thank you! (Edit): Now after about 3 months of consistent listening, I have to admit, this is hands down my favorite recovery podcast. Whenever I find myself in a stressful situation I pop on a random episode and it immediately sets me straight. Thank you all!
