Cd4djrMy fave cup of tea every morning is this show!I love following along with the royal family & all the news. I’m always curious what’s going on with Meghan Markle & hope that one day she’ll wake up & realize why so many people dislike her. It’s not about racism. The red flags were there from the beginning.. she had such a grand wedding but only one member of her family showed up, the fact she’s disowned her whole family and sadly now Harry with his family too is alarming in who she truly is. She has disrespected the members of the royal family, including the Queen, her co-workers, friends, staff and everyone she seems to cross paths with. I’m sad for Harry and hope that he’ll find that spark of joy & enthusiasm again someday. I just don’t think that will happen while he’s with Meghan. She is fake, and we can all see through it.

PonteLasPilasDaily is good, weekly is badThe daily dose of royal gossip is fun. Snarky at times, but overall lighthearted. And brief, which is great. The weekly however… it’s just bad. Not only do they not review accurately (so many errors), but it really comes across as flat propaganda. It’s weird that the daily version snarks on Harry/Meghan, and the weekly sings their praises, in a pretty nauseating way. Find a happy medium?

Go Bonnies!Love Mark; Hate the New AII listen every day because Mark Francis is awesome and sometimes you guys pick up stories that other people miss. But this new weekly thing with the AI you have got to get rid of this. It’s insulting to the audience. I mean, it’s clearly AI reading a script (a bad one) it’s not human beings. Mark is so real and his inflections are so great. And then this Palace Weekly thing is just bad, so bad. If that female voice says “yeeaaaaaahhh” one more time I’m going to vomit. I understand you’re trying to do more with less but… You can’t think that this is entertaining for people. But Mark, you’re great so I’m giving you five stars!

Either they need more training, or need to be replaced. To be clear, I am talking about the weekly show, not the daily one.

Most other Royal podcasts give me all the gilded and glittering stuff which I appreciate. PALACE INTRIGUE gives me the slightly dusty and slightly tarnished goblet version which I also appreciate. Always good for a chuckle. Keeps me updated. And when necessary, at very poignant moments, you do manage to be serious and respectful. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the daily releases. He comes off as pretentious, rude and judgy. “Give us 5 stars!” Why? You spread hate. “Pay for a subscription!” Heck no. I’ll save my money for jam or dog biscuits over spending money on supporting hate and divisiveness.

Love this podcast. Bite-size, amusing, and informative. The host is fun and doesn’t take himself too seriously. Most of all, his take on Meghan and Harry is realistic and sensible. Highly recommend!

Another key advantage is that the show combs through British press reports and reads the best snippets during the show. Short, to the point, and free of the endless fawning that characterizes most of the podcasts about the royal family. The dignified, respectful coverage of the queen’s death, with multiple daily updates was both appropriate and informative. 5 stars.

And on April 5 he hit the nail on the head with the commentary related to truth. My motto is if I say something that makes me feel better and everyone else feels worse. Maybe I need to think about it a little more. Harry will regret his truth.
