    Episodes too short
I would prefer more details in a story, 10mins on average is not enough time to engage - I would really enjoy this podcast and give 5 stars if episodes were more than 10-25 mins. Most missing people podcast episodes are at least 30 minutes long with details. Please consider positive criticism. Thanks!

    Great Podcast
First i want to say thank you for putting this information out there i have not heard of any of these cases. Second for the people who give negative reviews, give the guy a break it’s not easy to do a podcast and this podcast has totally come into its own and is fine. If you don’t like it then why do you keep listening, some of you need to get a life and stop looking for a reason to complain. Shut up and appreciate the show for what it is if not go listen to another podcast, and stop with the negative energy. Keep up the great work these stories need all the attention they can get.

    Love it
This is one of my new favorites. This podcast is great. The storytelling style really pulls you in and the atmosphere is also excellent. Five stars all the way.

45 Min w. ‘Eric the Mumbler’? Let’s Discuss..
Here’s a more concise version: Usually, your episodes (covering cases we’ve all heard about) are wrapped up in 10-15 minutes. But the first time you go for a 45-minute deep dive… it’s a letdown. Instead of a great case breakdown, we got 45 minutes of what felt like Andre the Giant mumbling through AM radio. It’s the same reason I unsubscribed from The Vanished and other true crime podcasts—we can tell when it’s phoned in! About that Eric interview: 1. You gave Eric total control, and he ran with it—straight into mumble territory. The mic quality was rough, and his voice droned on in a way that wasn’t quite soothing, more like a mosquito buzzing in my ear. It was hard to stay tuned, let alone make it to the end. 2. Was this edited at all? Did anyone review what would be worth saying before recording? You’re in charge, and sometimes it’s best to rein it in or, if need be, move on. Not every voice is right for the episode. Obviously, with all that said —I didn’t last past 4-5 minutes with “Eric the Mumbler,” and that was just while scrolling to queue up the next show. That said, you’ve had some unique cases that make me want to give you another shot. You’ve got something special here—don’t get lost copying others. Unsolicited Advice: Find someone to bounce things off. Not a full-time co-host—more like a “Baba Booey.” Just someone to chime in when needed and keep things lively while you stay the star 💫 Alright, you’ve got a month or two to turn things around. I’ll be back to check in! -LB

    Audio
Your podcast is GREAT, but the audio ISN’T. More story telling, less music. The music is louder than your voice. Thank you.

Show is ok WITHOUT rambling long interviews
No one, and I mean NO ONE, would think publishing that episode with Eric 🙄 was informative or entertaining. Typically the intro and transition music is fine but less background music would be nice. It’s just distracting. The podcaster’s voice is fine. Good even. Even better when talking to us rather than reading. A scripted/read podcast is just not as engaging. Maybe write it out and just refer to your notes. Much more natural. And for Pete’s sake, edit that Eric episode down. He is not a good or concise interviewee whatsoever. You have to know it’s terrible. Stick to what you do best—picking cases, writing scripts. You have a knack for storytelling. It would be so much better though if your scripts just helped you commit it to memory and then you told us, rather than read us, the details.

More like a news alert than a podcast…
These episodes are all pretty short and lacking in any in-depth details…. They bring awareness to a case, I guess, but you could probably Google it and find out just as much…. Also, the podcaster speaks slowly like he’s trying to hit the 12 minute mark.

    Great storytelling
Love this podcast. Great narrator, writing and music. Sometimes the music is very loud compared to the narration. But otherwise perfect. And he should totally finish his book! Maybe it could be more of a story about him and his dog exploring including the beginning of his investigation.

    Bar-Jonah case.
You just read Wikipedia as your story.

    Background music too distracting
I couldn’t get through the first episode with the music playing during narration. I’d give it another try if they got rid of it. Otherwise it’s a no go for me

TURN THE MUSIC DOWN. I want to hear the story, not a melody. I refuse to finish the episode I started on because of this. Sorry, had potential for me to binge listen but not my style.

    Audio
Love the show, but the audio is not great. It is a little muffled and bright at the same time.

    Language
I like his regular shows but I have NO INTEREST in hearing his outtakes when he’s cussing like a little child.
  • Frankieblueeyes413
    Nope!
The narrators voice is nice. However, his behavior is not. There are episodes where he's belching, using swearwords, being completely ignorant and obnoxious. I had to unsubscribe. What a train wreck of a podcast.

    Great show!
Just stumbled upon this podcast December 2022. I listen to a lot of podcasts in this similar genre. This one is very well done, I look forward too and hope there are more to come!
  • Xxxxxxxxooooooooo
    Actually the best
No lie. But this is my favorite true crime. He isn’t consistent on putting them out, (probably because it pays so well lol) but you will binge everything if you start them.

    Patience people!!!!
So many people were quick to give this podcast host a bad review because some episodes were put out erroneously before the editing took place. He quickly resolved the issue once he was made aware of this happening, along with an apology prefacing the edited version. I bet the same people aren’t as eager to give a good review …..smh This is a great podcast: several stories I’ve not heard of before with clear and concise storytelling, no spewed opinions and speculations.

    What am I listening to?
Is there no editing in this? This is a joke, repeating every line, dry mouth um gross - no

    9/28 episode!!!
A rough version of the Roxanne Paltauf episode was inadvertently released before it was edited- the fully produced version has been uploaded on 9/29 to replace it I apologize that this happened and appreciate your understanding

    Editing
In the latest episode, the podcaster stumbled over his words what seemed like over 20 times. He attempted to re-read his script and even then, he was still stumbling. He also missed several lines and spoke to himself that he should “do a transition here.” The podcaster’s delivery was extremely poor. Is there a reason why this episode was released?
  • Pimpincrazy
    Blooper reel?
Listening to the latest Roxanne episode. Seems to be an inappropriate blooper reel. This is someone’s family member, loved one. The laughing and mistakes and “another transition here” is so unforgivable. Who releases something like this????
  • cal 1976
    9/28/22 Show
Did you accidentally upload an unedited episode? I generally like the podcast but I don’t get this. Weird
  • I like to listen to podcasts
    Great show!
Awesome show, great for passing the time at work. I’m sure you’ll notice, but today’s episode (9/28) appears to be the raw unedited version.
  • Sara B43
Did you forget to edit the last episode?
    It’s a mess!
  • justforgetitalready
    ???
Maybe this was released before editing? Terrible and stopped listening.

    Change the music
The music is way to upbeat and happy for a true crime podcast

Finally found a missing persons podcast with great host, great story and quality sounding production
Sooo relieved I have found this podcast!! Can’t tell how many mystery or missing persons podcasts I have downloaded lately with the same huge obvious mistakes: 1. Horrible background & trailer music! 2. Horrible amateurish voice of the host 3. Too much talking by host about his or her own personal opinions and personal life 4. Very little about the Actual case told with stupid, obvious and cliché description. In contrary-this podcast has appropriate and non intrusive music, great voice by host and a great wonderfully described story line 🙏🙏 Thank you for doing a great job!!

    More opinion/conjecture
This podcast seems to revolve a lot more around the narrator’s opinion than actual facts. He does a lot to hype situations up, says that someone is “angry” or “manic” in the interview and then when the interview is played, that’s not the case at all. I was hoping this podcast would do a lot more to bring missing persons cases to the forefront, but it seems like the narrator just wants to create drama with every single episode.

    Great show
Thank you for all your hard work. Great content.
  • CastDisRiteHere
oh my god just speak normally already
Doesn’t matter how good the show is when listening to this guy is like pulling teeth. I’ll never understand the logic behind this. Why can’t you just talk NORMALLY? Listening at 1.2x speed doesn’t solve the problem since it’s not the speed at which he speaks but these constant PAUSES that make you wanna slap him. Impossible to listen to. Just another podcast with potential ruined by amateurism, as is the case with 99% of podcasts.
  • traceyarch
    No thanks
The Patti Adkins update was worthless and basically click bait. Why go through the trouble of presenting information you immediately found out was bogus?
  • Podcast Aficionado 2020
    Interesting
Good storytelling. Some episodes could be longer and have better sound quality.
  • Jaiti2090
Wow is all I have to say!!!!!

    Good Stories, Bad Narration
Really good stories but I couldn’t listen to the host. His narration felt so stiff and robotic.
  • TreeFixer
    Good stories
Good stories. The sound mixing and editing needs to be fixed, it goes from very quiet to very loud without warning.
  • teshster
    Don’t enjoy
Females voice is very annoying. She sounds very uneducated and takes away from the podcast.
  • crystaldawnyall
    Awesome
