The host cannot ever have an open minded conversation with anyone. Always shuts down the guest and disagrees with anything that is not her original opinion. It’s hard to enjoy listening to a “conversation” where a guest must only just agree with everything.

This content just keeps plummeting on quality. Just listened to the dumbest content with the most horrible guest. Had to turn it off after 20 minutes bc the guest couldn’t say much more than ‘yea, yea, yea, you’re right and I’m morally superior to everyone.’ Goodness, self awareness matters guys.

A great pop culture podcast that focuses on Taylor Swift but branches out into lots of other celebrities, scandals and discussions of how fans relate to pop culture. It’s a really fun mix of gossip/silliness and detailed timelines and lyric analysis. Cam is hilarious on her own but she also has great rapport with all her regular guests - highly recommend!

I’ve been casually listening to this podcast as a Taylor Swift fan. However, the first few minutes of the latest episode included a vague reference to political violence that is abhorrent. I am a democrat and I despise Trump myself. But please please please do not infer that you wish the shooter had not missed. No one should be on board with advocating for or even laughing about political violence. I immediately stopped the episode, unsubscribed and I’m never listening again.

Great podcast but crappy sentiments like “I’ve never seen a gaylor put this together” and other negative call outs against gaylors pisses me off

This podcast is not good. I do feel like there is so much speculation without much to stand on. The host flip flops on what they believe, which in some ways I can understand because this is all speculation but it doesn’t have me coming back for more. Also some of the words used are so cringey, like ‘boyf’, ‘boyfie’ and saying tea constantly. There may be better content with more ‘tea’ (which is another word the host says over and over) on Patreon, but I don’t like the pod enough to pay anything for it.

The main draw for this podcast is how chill Cam is and her overall vibe. The way she engages with her audience, especially on the Patreon, is so personable and relatable. She has introduced me to so many other podcasts by bringing folks on, and I always trust a recommendation from her. The Taylor content is the focus, for sure, but I would love other deep dives into other queer artists. Cam does such a great job chronicling and analyzing media, so it might be super cool to branch out to the coming-outs of other celebs and their histories adjacent to LGBTQ+ themes (a la Spice Girls). Like, what is the history of artists using their work as a space to explore queer ideas from a place of safety, or the closet? It could be a cool way forward in addition to the pop culture takes (which are always great). Also, please let us know the Patreon goal to get a Neopets livestream. Thanks!

I love this podcast and discovered it after the first DateCardPod crossover. Consistently funny, great guests, and I love hearing the different points of view on Taylor and pop culture in general. I love the way Cam looks at everything through a critical lens, she even looks at her critical lens through a critical lens, and in general I just love her takes and humor.

I love this podcast, it feels like i’m hanging out with my friends even when i’m working on spreadsheets or doing the dishes. I really appreciate the grounded approach to queerness in pop culture, especially from a Gaylor perspective. If you’re more interested in the fanfiction aspect of Kaylor, for instance, this might not be what you’re looking for. But as a queer swiftie that is not big on shipping, this pod is a breathe of fresh air

Love the in depth Kaylor content. I do think it’s ironic that the host uses vague evidence to say Swiftgron is undeniably real yet when even more obvious evidence backs up Kaylor the host acts like it could go either way. Also as someone with green eyes, Dianna Agron’s eyes are brown/hazel. Definitely not green. Edit: In part 7 of the Kaylor timeline Cam says that she doesn’t think Taylor would make music with anyone she doesn’t have a connection with, but in other episodes states that she believes Taylor’s relationship with John Mayer was 100% PR. That doesn’t make sense because Taylor made music with John Mayer.

What I will say nation keeps me going! My favorite pod to get me through the rough days.

This is such a fun pop culture show and a really cool community for people who see the writing on the wall that certain celebrities are queer. Cam entertains gossip but is very clear about explaining what the evidence (or lack thereof) is and not stretching reality too far to fit her fandom narrative. Safe space for the politically progressive, and hilariously vicious at times in the best way. Thank you, keep it up!

Seems to get a little too political at times. I love the show but I’d like to listen to something where we can keep opinions and politics out of it. I do understand why the names come up, but the opinions on it is a little much.

I never write reviews for podcasts (this is actually my first!), but I wanted to leave some feedback because I used to really love this podcast. For me it’s still mostly great other than the episodes when Cara is on. I agree 100% with the other reviewers who said she is condescending and she honestly sounds like a closet hetlor to me 99% of the time! 😅 Her comment on the midnights review saying “I promise you Taylor doesn’t know queer history” was so far off base (Taylor has shown many times that she does in fact know a lot abt queer history and history in general) and straight from the hetlor playbook. It REALLY got under my skin and it looks like I wasn’t alone. She also mocks Taylor fans for looking “too far” into things, which is literally the entire point of these podcasts & masterposts, etc. Both hosts disparage “Kaylors” SO much, making them sound like complete idiots, yet they capitalize off of them making 10+ Kaylor specific episodes. Idk, there’s value here (I love the Shawn eps and James especially), and I *almost* want to sub to the patreon, particularly for NT content, but I’m afraid Cara will be prominent there and I just can’t get into that so I haven’t. Idk, maybe just re-evaluate if Cara even wants to be here, bc it sounds like she can’t even be bothered most of the time. Do either of you even like Taylor (or especially gaylors) anymore?

Came over after the FluentlyFoward crossover and have slowly gotten more disappointed. Cara is super condescending and doesn’t add much, especially hated her quote “I promise you Taylor Swift doesn’t know anything about queer history….” BFFR 😂 maybe on some things like specific flowers or a color having some place in queer history, but you think this woman doesn’t know queer history when writing lyrics like “you could hear a hairpin drop/hairpin trigger?” Not to mention the thousands of other references she uses in her lyrics? Not big on the overall Midnights review, I feel like you guys missed a lot and let your dislike of the album cloud things up, and I’m not sure when this became a Toe stan account but that was a little disappointing too.

Haven’t listened in a few month and I came back to a podcast host who doesn’t even seem to like Taylor anymore or believe in any Gaylor theories… what happened?!

I really enjoy your podcast. I love Taylor and her songwriting is amazing. Then to dissect lyrics and song meanings. Also, looking at what was going on at the timeline. Love it. So fun! But I just want to say, that when I listen to your analysis of GAYLOR, it makes me so mad that you rag on Larry stylinson. If you research Harry and Louis and watch videos and look at their songs, you can say the same thing about them. Harry covered Girl Crush and do not change the pronouns. So if you state that as a flag that Taylor is queer. Then you can say the same about Harry. There is so much there. You say Larries are crazy, but you are doing the same thing with Taylor and karlie or Diana. I don’t want any hate. I just don’t think it’s fair. I believe that they were together and were or are closeted. But I am not crazy.

great analysis + super detailed deep dives on all sorts of different topics. love the rapport between the hosts (and cam honestly vibes with everyone she invites). they’re also open to changing their minds when presented with new info (and have done so a lot), which is a great indication of their sincerity imo. i don’t have any funny lines for you to say out loud but I love y’all.

One of my favorite podcasts. Cam does such in depth research, always has great guests and has a very solid brand. No one talking celebrity gossip does as much research. I also love that she is willing to change her mind about things! If you want to shout out my cat Piper that would be very nice.
