Yalie2015PerplexedI truly don’t understand why this podcast is so highly rated. The ratio of ads and banter to actual information is way too high. I’ve tried listening to ~6 episodes and am giving up. If you’re looking to learn anything about the Moms on Call method, I don’t recommend this as a helpful source.

idntlkthisConstantly selling their productsThis podcast seems like it’s just a platform for them to sell their products and not so much to inform you of anything.

She Who Rides FarThe mom manual! These moms are amazing. Laura and Jennifer are so great and breaking down the top mom questions in a way that’s so easy to understand for those of us who aren’t sleeping, are overwhelmed, and just trying to do our best! I feel so much more confident about what I’m doing thanks to these ladies!

MDmom2022Too many platitudesI purchased the Moms on Call books and they have been helpful (although very high level) but unfortunately this podcast just seems to be mostly platitudes, no specifics, and plugs for their classes (which you have to pay for).

LetTheSunshine_In32Good for baby basic care, but better options for parentingI think this is good if you want to listen to two older moms talk about what their kids were like back when they were babies and toddlers (their kids are now teens). I have an 11 month old and discovered a MOMS on call book when he was 2 months old. I hoped I would like this podcast, but I just don’t feel compelled to listen like I thought I would. They bounce over so many different topics and the titles don’t always match accurately with the topics they end up discussing. Sometimes I feel what they are sharing is a bit outdated when it comes to actual parenting tips, especially toddlers and preschoolers and getting them to “listen” (aka do what we want) there are a lot more current research based guidance out there on children’s brain development and how to build connection that leads to cooperation. There are better sources for that. However, they do have good advice on basic caring for a newborn and toddlers aka feeding and sleep, which is very helpful to new moms.

lmarti10Not impressedWayyyyyy too much side chit chat - get to the point!
-
Rabid for rabbitsVague advice and platitudesIf you’ve read their book(s), don’t expect anything new here. If you need to be repeatedly told to swaddle tight tight tight and use a white noise machine then you’re in the right place. An hour of vague advice and platitudes without any new info

BentaClarkTeaching MotherhoodI love moms on call! They have taught me the foundations of being a mother and you will NOT regret taking time to listen to these life giving messages! Thanks Moms on Call!

Jaime DeclanUnhelpfulThis podcast lacks structure and options come off too rigid or unclear. I was hoping to get more from this podcast but much better parenting podcasts out there.

bo-bashleyLove the books, love the podcast! So much wisdom and grace all wrapped up in one. I always look forward to this podcast in my feed each week, because after listening I feel empowered and encouraged as a mom.

Whitney O'HalloranFrom New Mom to Lifelong FanHeard about Moms on Call through an acquaintance when I was pregnant. I bought all 3 books and never looked anywhere else for help! The tips, advice and humor the MOC network provides are simple, straightforward and SHORT! Everything an exhausted mom could ask for and any caregiver, new or experienced, will learn something within all stages of the Moms on Call resources!

Kendalm82Ads for their paid contentJust chat and ad to use their paid content. I bought their 0-6m book and love it but don’t find anything useful in the two podcasts I tried unfortunately. Listened at double speed and nothing useful to take away. Wish they would find a better balance. Sorry to be negative just want to provide constructive criticism and potentially save other moms time.

mellymacanaNot impressedThey lack structure in the topics they discuss. I don’t really feel they provide a lot of valuable content in each episode.

da pup23*78744&(54The best!We hired Mom’s On Call when our triplet boys came home from the hospital. They taught us so many things we never knew. But the true lifesaver were the schedule and the noise machine. Our boys are great sleepers and I have Moms On Call to thank. We never would have survived without them!
-
TajTayGreat PodcastLaura and Jennifer are so positive yet realistic about being moms. I like that they have experienced raising children and are sharing from their professional and first hand knowledge! I am excited for more content to come.

adgrif2015So great! And so relatable!Have loved Moms on Call for years! Their books and routines are literally life changing! Soo happy they now have a podcast. Adding this to my daily listen. So relatable and helpful!

emilymb87Amazing!Moms on Call has been a huge blessing to our family! It empowered us as new parents and gave our family (and marriage), the best gift ever…sleep. Our daughter has been sleeping through the night since she was 12 weeks old and 5 years later I still refer to my moms on call books! The toddler book encouraged and empowered us as we navigated communicating with a toddler, whining, tantrums, getting dressed and so much more! Excited to get to hear the founders give parenting tips and share their stories every week!

LaWilfThese ladies are magic ✨I found moms on call at 3AM one busy new born life morning 5.5 years ago. In the middle of the night with an over stimulated baby I was rocking and nursing and crying over, I downloaded their first book and read it in my glider chair. TWO WEEKS LATER my beautiful baby was on a predictable schedule and started sleeping 12 hours straight through the night at 6 weeks old. The same routine worked with my 2nd child two years later. These ladies provide the most powerful tools a new parent can use for a happy, healthy baby and family. Hearing their voices explain their method for infants through toddler years is like chatting with an old friend.

Meg SavelMom’s on call is the best! When I found out a MOC podcast was coming out I freaked!! The moms on call books helped me prepare before my son and then helped me in the newborn and now toddler stage. The schedule app was my Bible for awhile. -
MrBullitzFangirlingWe loved using MOC scheduling, reading their books and following their sleep methods!! - our baby boy started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks old and has ever since (🤞🏼). I am so excited to watch their podcast unfold into even more ++ create a safe space for moms with questions, especially the “silly” ones!

Han-StewTHANK YOU SO MUCH!!As a mom of two, I constantly am asking myself, “How can I most efficiently teach my kids the important lessons of life?” I’m so excited to listen to this podcast and find out tips and tricks from such experienced and well educated women. Emily1029MOC makes me a better momAs a mom and just as a person, I love a routine and a schedule. I’ve used their principles for both of my babies. Both are great sleepers specifically - this has been the most invaluable advice I’ve ever received from any parenting books / resources. I enjoy following them on social media and look forward to the podcast.
-
JessWardellThe very best and wisest!!These women have helped me be so much more confident and prepared in my parenting journey.
