MegggRileyIn love!I don’t know why I’m just finding out about this but so excited to binge all the episodes. First episode already has me hooked.

Elixir45A podcast that misuses a croissantI regret to say that, while the show Veep is clever, too often Matt and Tim are not. They have the same understanding of politics as a college freshman polisci major does- one who returns home to thanksgiving and irritates his family everyone with shallow assumptions about how the other side lives and thinks. When they deign to talk about the show, their on its making are fascinating. It is too often overshadowed, particularly as the episodes go on, by ignorant political commentary masquerading as insight. There are a thousand other podcasts for that.

Link417A Veep rewatch podcast in name onlyThis show started out great, I love Veep and loved hearing the hosts and guests go through each episode with behind the scenes info and extra tidbits about the show. I learned about the actual A Woman First: First Woman book from this show! However, over time, the hosts stopped discussing the episodes and just focused on “inside baseball” industry talk and their guests’ careers. I started fast forwarding through episodes, then I started skipping entire episodes, and now — only a few episodes into season 5 — I’m unsubscribing altogether. I want to hear about the show and the episodes, not your anecdotes and unending praise for industry people who have nothing to do with the show. Also, Matt is hilarious but Tim takes the industry talk way too seriously.
-
RsgigfdstygLove, but…Tim cannot help himself but repeating Matt saying the exact same thing but taking twice as long. Also the way Tim says the word “scene,” man… yikes, 800 times per episode. More behind the scene tidbits please that’s the most exciting stuff!

VAW82Please talk about the showIt would be awesome if this VEEP podcast would talk about VEEP. Like the show. And the episodes of the show. And what it was like filming the show. You know, the promise of the premise of this podcast. If you like comedic actors talking about random things in their lives and NOT Veep, you will enjoy this show.

ZombddpRepublicans buy sneakers, too.Veep is an entertaining show. These guys can’t wait to graft in that Christians and conservatives are the less than. Sad they can’t let their politics aside and celebrate this excellent HBO series. Anyway, I’m not out and unfollowing due to the contempt these guys have for middle America.
-
JC3 BrewingBack to reviewing!I give it to these guys, as soon as the strike ended they did a review episode. Their reviews are fun and full of behind the scenes information that give me an excuse to watch Veep, one of the best shows ever.(we can’t forget Parks and Recreation!)
-
GingermadamObsessed With VeepLove the show and podcast and the amazing guests.
-
AstroBassetPerfect companion to the showThe background and insights from Second in Command have made me love my favorite show even more. Tim and Matt do a great job of highlighting all of the things that make Veep special. The guest interviews are always great, I love the different perspectives we get to hear. I look forward to this podcast every week

Dunbar79Fortuitous Timing!Just as I decided to do a Veep rewatch, I heard Matt Walsh promoting this show on another, older podcast. Thanks to some breaks, I’ve caught up and am ready for the next rewatch ep (while enjoying the 🎵 relisten of a rewatch🎵)!
-
Jim MacLeodFrom the Awesome State of NHThis has become one of my must-listen/watch podcasts each week. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched the entire series of Veep. This podcast gives so many behind-the-scenes stories that I get more out of the show now. I’m glad you guys are back and digging into the episodes!
-
TheSeasKneesJokes on Jokes!I watched and rewatched Veep obsessively during the Trump years; I think it helped me understand and process the idiocy of politics. To this day, whenever I pop on a favorite episode (like “Testimony”), my family members look at me incredulously and ask, “You’re watching Veep AGAIN?” My response? “Let me have joy!” Also, it takes at least 6 viewings per episode to catch all of the jokes. Thank you, Tim and Matt, for the insider perspective. You should all be so proud of this art you co-created!
-
AriFikeA questionably accurate reviewGlad y’all are back from your break. Kind of rude to have a busy life outside the pod but tentatively forgiven. I love all the insights from the bts from y’all and the guests you have on. Y’all point things out I never noticed that make me appreciate this top tier show even more. P.S. this is a five star review, but the app is being weird so I’m not sure how many I’ve actually highlighted. Just know that if this says 1 star that in my heart you are 5 stars ✨⭐️💫

dnougieTreasure trove of info for Veep fansA good listen!
-
AllFlippedOutOne of the Better Rewatch PodcastsI’m very picky with my rewatch podcasts. There are so few good ones. But so far, this is one of the good ones. I mean, in episode 0, they talk to a memory expert to see how accurate they will be in their recollections about the show. It’s clear they do their research, and I like how they talk about the show in the context of today’s political climate. Update: Too much random guest talk, not enough episode breakdown. A little too scattered and unprepared overall.
-
pearlyokLove this showNeed more ANNA ! Love VEEP! I have watched it over and over and over again. I Adore watching Tim crack up and enjoy every minute of hanging with Matt. Thank you for being on video too
-

eesldmFavorite New PodcastI’m a big fan of cast member rewatch podcasts, so I was thrilled to learn that there was one for VEEP. Love the inside stories from Matt, Tim, and all the guests they bring on the show. It makes my daily commute on the 405 more bearable. Looking forward to going through the entire series with Matt and Tim. #VEEPIVERSARY
-
Over NightPerfectThanks so much for this rewatch podcast! I’m also on a rewatch journey and, weirdly, am at the same point you two are. So I’m looking forward to continuing with you guys. Please don’t randomly stop, like a lot of pods do. Cheers!

worldofdianaA Must Listen for True Veep FansIf you’re a Veep fanatic like I am this is a must listen to podcast. Great BTS stories and fascinating insights from Matt, Tim and the amazing guests that join them. I look forward to the weekly deep dives into this brilliantly smart and wickedly funny show…that for better or for worse predicted a lot of our current political landscape. #Veepiversary
-
Meg SDVulnerabilityThis is a good podcast and it is not bad. The guys are funny and insightful. They’re uniquely vulnerable for a rewatch podcast and I feel I get more out of it personally than I anticipated. I’m gonna double down on that. #VEEPIVERSARY
-
BRoar17My Fav PodcastHave loved watching Veep several times over, but this podcast takes things to the next level! Getting to hear from all of my favorite characters and what it was like to be on the show brightens my day! I enjoy the banter between Matt and Tim and love the interviews, especially Steven Colbert! Thank you for all that you guys do! #Veepiversery
-
RachInVAMore cast interviews!I love this podcast and eagerly await its release each week. I’ve admittedly switched to watching it on YouTube as it’s more entertaining watching Tim and Matt crack up, but still enjoy listening after rewatching the episodes. My favorite part are the interviews with cast members. The Colbert interview was delightful- hearing other celebrity fans of the show would be cool too! Thanks for putting this together. Daniwah forever!
-
isabella.psPLEASE!!!!!Please, please, *please* bring Colbert back soon. At least once more. He’s game, just find a spot in his schedule. That episode was so good I actually wrote about it in my diary and stared at it for a full 5 minutes.
-
funafuti325Love!Hi! When is the latest episode (10th anniversary episode) coming out on YouTube?? I love watching you guys but don’t see the latest episode posted yet.
-
ZG from Jax,FL (Unfortunately)First Rate Podcast from First Rate Comedians (Seriously)Veep is my second favorite TV show of all time (behind the Thick of It). Matt and Tim are entertaining and have a great rapport. I have a couple of questions for the show : At what point in history do you guys think Veep diverges from our history ?(for example: there’s several references to 9/11 but no mentions of W. Bush, H.W. Bush, or the Clinton’s) Also, are you guys considering a The Thick of It rewatch?
-
thę bīg guyI want to like this podcastI am a huge Veep fan and was excited to discover this podcast. But Tim and Matt need to work harder on accuracy and thoroughness. One glaring example - a whole show on Mike’s wedding episode that went on and on about Sam Richardson - but NO mention of the great Kathy Najimy??
-
Mermaids11A Perfect Podcast for a Perfect show! What a treat! How delightful to happen upon this Second in Command! A delightful trip down memory lane for many, for me perfectly timed since I have just been bingeing on Veep for the first time. A Perfect podcast for a Perfect show!
-
kettlepotnFlipping those baby sea turtles right side upLove hearing Tim and Matt discuss one of my favorite shows in existence. The guests are amazing. The cold opens are genius. And who doesn’t love boba tea.
-
ms.laurzaTim please let other people talkI really want to like this but man, Tim talks wayyyy too much. Listening to him start a thought is like someone trying to jump on a treadmill that’s already running. Lots of fumbling before he finds his own point. Hope the balance gets better because this is such a great show
-
Chitown JamieGreat Rewatch or Fan Show!Matt and Tim are great hosts to honor and hilariously review such an amazing show. They get all the great guests/actors from the show including Selena herself-Julia Louise Dreyfus and they’re all super funny!
-
MollyMcilroyLoved the Colbert episodeAs someone who is apparently as knowledgeable and obsessed with Veep as Stephen Colbert, I totally followed this episode! I was quoting along with him and knew which episode the quotes were from. Such a fun time 😁
-
Stella3847More VEEP Fans Like Colbert!!I enjoy all episodes, but I REALLY enjoyed hearing another VEEP fanatic - a fellow VEEPLE gush over how awesome this show was and how I can watch it at any moment and still laugh.
-
Cales QThe Only Thing I Listen to AnymoreI’m a normal person who just happens to be on an all-Veep media diet, and for good reason. This podcast is perfectly imperfect— I love all the tangents, sidebars and free-associations Matt and Tim allow themselves while loosely following the rewatch format. They are so generous with their memories, musings and detailed insights on the cast, crew, characters and creation of Veep. That’s a lot of C’s, but this show gets an A++ from me. It’s escapism at its finest, yet hyper-real at the same time. It’s the only thing I listen to anymore. Please keep up the good work!
-
MAC8382Jolly Green J***faceMatt and Tim do an admirable job recapping Veep episodes (Veepisodes?) and reminiscing about the process behind the show as a whole and notable moments from each episode reviewed. Being from the DMV (DC, MD, VA - I live in VA and grew up in DC and MD) I appreciate the stories about the cast’s time in Baltimore, especially filming at the Ottobar with local band Magrudergrind. Bottom line is that if you enjoyed the show and the many insults hurled from all the characters, this podcast is for you!
-
paigepm7Keep up the good workNice podcasting boys! Love hearing about all the outtakes and Britishisms and such. Also love when you ask guests what they based their performance on and all the research that went into those choices. I want to see veep beta now
-
karine tangerineThis makes me so happy. I love Matt and TimVEEP is my comfort show; has been for years. Now that they’re getting into details? My heart is singing. So fun, so interesting, so entertaining. Love it.
-
BroderskiLove it! 👍🏼I guess I HAVE to rewatch VEEP now. Can’t not. Sorry, family. See you post-binge
-
kingfisher25So goodWhat a pleasurable way to revisit Veep. Matt and Tim are so funny and collegial and really welcome you in to the world of the show. This is a terrific listen.
-
BLFuentesEverything I wanted it to be!As a Veep obsessed fan, this rewatch podcast revisits all of my favorite moments and offers incredible insight from Matt & Tim. The guests are icing on the cake, and I cannot wait for more episodes. Daniwah!
-
1000timeisacharmSuch a fun re-watch podcast!I love listening for the personal antidotes, and behind the scenes looks. Plus, getting to “know” the cast in real life is so fun. I love this show and continue to re-watch it. This podcast just cements why this show is so amazing. Thank you both!!
-
ItsSean98Looking at Power, From the bottom of the tallest ladderThis is a great podcast! It’s such an interesting perspective hearing about how they made the show. Its an easy listen… even if they can’t quite get the tag line quite right ;P ! If i could edit it, I’d say it’s “looking at power, from the bottom of the tallest ladder. “
