Think of it this way, if you believe really strongly for a cause, you might sympathize more with Right wing ideologies because that is what clicks with you. However, what clicks with others, is different. If they feel that they are a different sex than they were born with, it’s completely okay for somebody to make goals to transition to their desired image. It’s a matter of fact that has been studied by various psychologists (if you wish, I can supply the actual articles.) that throughout the ages many people have felt widely about their gender identities and have felt much happier regarding the changes they have made with themselves. People of this Reddit podcast review section, what is your queer origin story? I’ll start with mine. To set the stage I thought I was a boy for most of my life. However I often imagined what it would be like as a girl. Of course it didn’t matter that much then, elementary school, since the only difference between boys and girls was their hair length, and now that isn’t even entirely true. Though I always felt different. Not the stereotypical “no one is like me” type of different. For me it was just hard to relate to boys. I never had a male character who I wanted to be like, it was always female. Even the voice in my head was feminine. I also hated looking at my own reflection. I couldn’t stand my face. This persisted for a few years until Covid hit. Around this time I learned about puberty and everything that it would do. I wasn’t too concerned until it started happening. My body hair was growing, I was getting taller, and my voice grew deeper. I even had a mustache. But i didn’t like this. Like it felt uncomfortable and just uncanny seeing my body like that. After lockdown was over I kept wearing a mask in public (and still do) due to the aforementioned aversion to my face. This continued until high school, where I had been placed in a high level class (think Ivy League college level, it’s literally run by Cambridge University) and was able to make some friends. I eventually got close enough with one of them to just vent out my feelings. I just kinda let out about how much the changes to my body made me uncomfortable and how I hated it. It was really overwhelming at the time and it did help a little to let it out. But she was being smart and looked up what my feelings were, and she told my about gender dysphoria; In essence it’s the condition a transgender person has and is primarily an uncomfortable feeling about someone’s own body. And I had every symptom. I know this is a bit long so I’ll shorten the rest. Afterwards I came out to my friend group, and eventually spoke to my doctor about it. Then I came out to my mom and a little while later my dad. Then (cause of my dad over pushing instead of not pushing enough like he thought he would do) I started going by a new name. I’m still waiting to get into the gender clinic after 5 months since asking to get on the list. So that’s about it, if you have any questions let me know!!

Thank you for not being absolutely terrible like the majority of these people. I’m just planning on politely pointing out that Mormons aren’t considered Christians by anyone but themselves. This is because they added several books to the Bible which are interesting oh boy. The Bible clearly speaks about not adding or taking away from it. And you are right about the Book of Mormon thing. And with the bit about the Bible being sexist I haven’t seen where that is personally. Sadly for the wider group of Christians often the worst of us are the loudest. I had so much text here arguing about this whole situation-4 whole edits-and I’m sick of it. No one’s gonna say, “Oh, math mane, you’re so right!! We should all just agree and follow whatever you say!” So can we just stop? Why did someone asking for a certain episode enrage you so much?? Why is there so much drama in these reviews? Ppl will make reviews like “guys why is there so much drama in these reviews, its for reviewing the podcast not arguing” and then proceed to insert their own opinion too, its like an infinite loop of these clowns just contradicting themselves. End all of this LGBTQ and religious debate. Just because someone in a literal review section hurts your feelings doesn’t mean you are obligated to go on a multi paragraph rant about how your right and everyone else is wrong. Its honestly just sad. Im not picking any sides by writing this btw, I’m just trying to get all of you to stop Embarrassing yourselves on the freaking review section of a podcast.

I listened to ever one of the episodes FINALLY

I have been listening to this podcast for awhile and I’m still being surprised wi to all the stories! The narrator is great at their job and sometimes adds his own commentary and opinion, feels like you’re just listening as your old friend tells a crazy but believable story! Would recommend for anyone who likes to work with something to listen too, I personally love to have it while I’m painting! :-)

This is a great podcast it’s great for gaming because if you stop paying attention for a second there’s another story the next 30 seconds

So I’ve been listening to this podcast since the day it was released. I’ve just now read these reviews arguing over lgbt community. 1. This is not the place for arguing. The reviews on a podcast are not the place to voice opinions on political and social matters. 2. I am not a supporter of the lgbtqai-+ community. I am a nondenominational Christian who believes God loves each of us equally no matter the sin and our soul was created with our gender and body in mind. But I do not hate on those who are lgbtq yada yada because I know they may be misled. Other Christians take a different approach and hate those who do not share their opinions. I believe that hating someone because of a mistake they may have made is wrong. If you are part of that community I pray for you and ask that God blesses you. 3. You are not going to change anyone’s mind by arguing in a podcasts reviews. This is not the place to discuss these matters. If you hate your opposition they will never listen to you. This goes for both sides of this disagreement. 4. I pray for all of those who have made reviews speaking against the other party’s position. I pray that God will give you wisdom, good health, peace, and prosperity to your life. I pray that everyone here learns to love their enemies, and does not wish any harm upon others. I pray that God lays his hand over their lives and protects them from this harsh world. 5. This is a great podcast. I don’t always agree with the stories opinions but it’s very entertaining.
