I love how Brandi goes into every aspect of the Karen Reed case as well as all of the other cases she covers. I have unfollowed podcasts just because they got the details wrong in this case. I am glad I can count on this podcast to get the best coverage.

It’s a shame I started to listen to this podcast, thinking it is so informative until the narrator started leaning towards the defense and pointing things out in a negative manner towards the prosecution and in a positive manner towards the defense. This is not neutral reporting, something I was looking for. I was very disappointed.

Brandi continues to provide explanations with great detail of the Karen Reed trial and motions. The amount of research she does is admirable. I look forward to her podcast each week.

If you are like me following the KR trial you will definitely appreciate this podcast. Brandi is so thorough with breaking down ALL of the testimonies and the who’s who. I listen to a lot of podcasts this one is one of my favorites of all time. Thanks Brandi, I appreciate all of the hard work you’ve put into this podcast.

I have listened to every single one of these episodes. Not only is it calming, but it is researched and you can tell she has put in the effort for a non-biased opinion about both sides of this case. I have followed this case for many years and this is right along with everything that I have ever believed.

This podcast is a breath of fresh air, especially compared to true crime shows that make light of the tragedies that people go through and those who perpetrate those crimes. My one irritation with this podcast comes from the fact that the episodes are not dated, they are numbered with episode numbers only, and they are the only podcast I have encountered which is listed in forward time sequence, meaning the earliest podcast is the first one you see, and the most recent podcast is all the way down at the end. It’s a small thing but it’s opposite the way. I have found every other audio podcast. This is definitely worth a listen and should become one of your regular shows .

I love how this podcast is super straightforward. It’s easy to listen to and absorb while doing chores/busy work. It’s similar to Court Junkie in that regard. Great show!

If you prefer Brennan’s egregious violations which Bev allows in court -clearly making a mockery of taxpayers hard-earned funds- then this podcast isn’t for you. If you appreciate critical thinking and motions filed properly supported with facts and not deception, then you’ll appreciate the truth from this podcast, which doesn’t assume that you, in the potential jury pool, has all the intelligence of a rubber eraser. This podcast dishes out the truth supported in facts which are checked revealing the sources of how / when…no secret handshakes. The latter is left at the fifth grade lunch tables most of us left long ago….as it should be.

Brandi keeps you on the edge of your seat for the entire episode. I’m always wanting more to the point of me going back and listening to the episode again. This podcast has it all. True crime, the courtroom’s drama and the antics of the participants. Listen once and you’re hooked, nor will you be disappointed. Thank you Brandi for such a well informed podcast.

Just listened to Black Swan series. Wow! So much more info than reported anywhere else. The analysis is even better. So thoughtfully argued and backed up with facts & evidence used in court (that is played for listeners to evaluate for themselves. It’s like both being on the Jury AND being at law school. Really impressive,

From the moment I started listening to the events of the Karen Read trial on this podcast I was hooked. The objective, factual analysis of every detail is incredible. The questions she asks and the way she analyses every action and detail is incredible. She should be a detective! I started listening to Brandi after I heard of her contribution to the Murdaugh Murders Podcast. Her analysis of the timeline was actually entered into evidence during the trial - it was that good. Each week I eagerly await the next episode. Keep doing what you’re doing Brandi! Ignore all the noise and focus on what you do best…you have a large fan base supporting you!

I highly recommend this podcast. Brandi does an excellent job trying to be objective but also not get tunnel vision on a side. She did a great job on Black Swan and Karen Read. What she has exposed and shared on Canton is mind blowing and disturbing/disappointing for law enforcement and the town. I hope the truth will eventually prevail whatever “side” is correct.

Ms. Churchwell does an amazing job with top notch commentaries. One of the best podcasts covering this interesting trial out there.

I love the timelines and digging Brandi does. But really too much turtle boy. The whole group involved here just distorts my faith in humanity. Both sides showed horrible behavior and judgement.

Was hesitant to listen due to the title—I really just wanted a rerun of the timeline and what evidence was ACTUALLY collected or not. This was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for the “just the facts ma’am” coverage Brandi—the best overview of this case I’ve seen or heard to date. 10/10.

I am from Norfork County and was not very informed on what had been happening since that night when John O’Keefe lost his life. I had begun listening to Turtleboy and the Young Jurks and their weekly podcasts last spring but did not have a full understanding of everything that took place that night until I found the 13th Juror. Great coverage and break down of all information from the Pre trial up to present day

I got into 13th Juror for the Karen Read trial because it happened in my area. I could NOT stop listening! Now I’m hooked on Brandy! I’m currently going through her entire catalog. 10/10 highly recommend!

I would love to see Brandi dig deeper into Ashley Benefield’s background. There has to be something more to this. She seems evil.

Brandie digs deep and approaches everything with logic and research. She doesn’t sensationalize anything and encourages the listener to come to their own conclusions based on the evidence. What she has done and continues to do on the Karen Ried case deserves an award. My favorite true crime podcast.

Just started listening to Brandis podcast 2 weeks ago and havent stopped! I have listened to every single ‘conspiracy in canton’ episode to date (AKA the Karen Read Trial) and Brandi is thorough, informative, speaks clearly, and simplifies legal jargon so the people that do not understand what certain legal terms mean can understand. The other bad reviews do not make sense and seem to me that they are supporters of the common wealth side, and want to bash Brandi and call her a liar when she has done hundred of hours of research on this case to get the actual FACTS and NOT just what is being spread on social media. Brandi let’s it be known what is fact, and what is a conspiracy theory & what is being spread on social media. She states she doesn't know if it’s true or not when it is something like that. What she does state as facts is from a ton of research of the real evidence, documents, court docs, etc. Furthermore I do not know how someone can say that it is all lies and that she is spreading and that everything she said was debunked in the first trial…that makes no sense since she literally reports on the whole trial each day and tells each sides case as they present it. And no the “conspiracy theories” were NOT debunked! I have listened to several podcasts including Brandi’s and done a ton of research myself on this case and the defense at the trial actually PROVED a lot of the “theories” and the CW and their witnesses etc. lied, tried to mislead the jurors, and THEIR (the CW) OWN EXPERTS even said there is no way JO was hit by a car. His injuries were not consistent. Trooper Paul is the only “expert” of theirs that looked HORRIBLE and could not back up what he was stating as “Fact” and that was proven. He looked stupid on the stand trying to defend his thoughts as to why he came to the conclusion JOs arm was hit by KR suv and somehow flew several feet & his phone flew underneath his body, and he had all the injuries to his face and body that he did by being hit with a taillight. Give me a break! Just like ALL those witnesses the MCcabes and Alberts that had all the supposed “pocket dials”…really? And you believe that all those people pocket dialed other people/each other several times each the night JO was killed? Amongst all the other evidence that the police did not do their job or a thorough job. Or how about finding a bunch of taillight pieces several hours AFTER a full search was done with minimal snow, yet they find a bunch of taillight pieces hours after when several feet of snow had fallen on that area…and after proctor had taken KR SUV to be searched and wrote a different time that he obtained it. There is video evidence proving this! WEIRD how he had her SUV for so long before he said he actually had it and THEN several pieces of taillight show up under several feet of snow. THESE ARE ACTUAL FACTS presented in the trial. There is also video evidence that Karen hit Johns car when leaving the house that morning to search for him! But sure it’s all made up even though it was proven with evidence at trial and some of these facts were admitted to by the witnesses for the CW! So leave Brandi alone. And anyone new thinking of listening to her podcast please do! It is thorough and the most informative and easiest to follow.

I really enjoyed this podcast until the Karen Read trial. Every episode of this trial is about how great the defense was and how horrible you feel the prosecution was. It seemed that everything that was mentioned was the stuff that the defense talked about that was negative about the prosecution, nothing that was negative about Karen or her actions. If that was truly the case she would have been found not guilty, right? Just give the information and then if you want to give your comments at the end when you wrap up would be much better. Just my opinion. Hopefully the next trial will be less biased and more focused on everything that happened. Update: Karen’s attorneys are masterful and well versed and the DA is snarky and low blows. Did you listen to the trial? Karen’s attorneys were just as snarky. Karen is not the victim, John is. Let’s not forget about that. Next case please…. MOVE ON!!!!! There are so many other trials to talk about and still going on about this. The stuff going around this town is just a joke and you just keep it going.

All of this coverage allowed me to take a step back and rethink what I watched daily at the trial. Still a shame a man/father was killed and that a young woman’s life is altered and separated from her young daughter. Thanks Brandi… will stay tuned for further developments.

This podcast is biased and one sided and aligns with the man who has created this fake conspiracy in contest with Karen Read, Aidan Kearney, AKA Turtleboy. It has been filled with misinformation that was debunked in the first trial. Brandi has stated in writing that she is going along with Turtleboy who has committed horrifying attacks on the family of the victim in this case, John O’Keefe and the intimidation of witnesses because she doesn’t want to anger the mob of people who refer to themselves as Free Karen Read AKA FKR. They are the biggest part of the audience of this podcast and she put in writing that she has to pay her bills thus not looking for the truth because she can’t lose the revenue. Money is prioritized over ethics. Don’t rely on this podcast if you want actual facts in the death of John O’Keefe.

I tried this podcast to get an unbiased look at John O’Keefe’s death. I quickly realized by the third episode that she had an agenda. The podcaster does nothing but perpetuate the ridiculous conspiracies. Then I discovered the utter disrespect toward the victim’s family (posing at CrimeCon with a Stop n’ Shop bag, anyone? How tacky.), and her alignment with the likes of Turtle Boy. This podcast is nothing but a way to make money off a tragedy. What a grifter.
