At 26 years old, Sarah Weddington stands in a courtroom for the first time in her life and argues the most explosive case of her era: Roe V. Wade. Supreme tells her unlikely story, as well as that of Justice Harry Blackmun, who’s appointed by Nixon to the High Court at the same time. Sarah and Harry – both new, untested, and scared out of their minds – are on a collision course. She struggles to overcome the many obstacles placed in her path, while he must find the courage to step out of his lifelong best friend’s shadow and take a stand. Together, they create one of the defining moments of the century.

    Love this podcast. An incredible young woman who went before the Supreme Court to argue for a case she believed in, and to speak truth to power. Very impressive!

    Powerful and Important
    This is an amazing thing to listen to when cleaning or working. it’s like watching a show but you don’t have to worry about missing scenes! Maya Hawke is captivating as the character and the story is important to hear and learn. It’s a shame that there are reviews that just talk about how they are throwing a temper tantrum because there is something g out here that they don’t like. I love this very much and thank you for it.

    So, now that it’s obvious no one is watching movies, tv and Hollywood are dying, these guys think going back to radio days is the ticket. Of course! Podcasts are doing so well, but you know who gets the biggest audiences? Truthtellers, not propaganda pushers. This is more nonsense by people that used to be considered A listers that people despise now. My how you’ve fallen. Why not ask Brad Pitt if you can fill in on one of his coffee maker commercials?

    Too many commercials
    The podcast is fine but it is unlistenable with so many commercials. Every 4 minutes of show followed by 3 commercials. I am bummed bc I was really interested in the story. Unfortunately I am out 🫤

    This is friggin’ awesome. It brings such an import part of modern American history to life. My 7-year-old daughter and I were enthralled and couldn’t stop listening. As a father I felt it was so important for her to know this story and I am glad they have made it such an easy listen. Congrats!!!
