Josh. I LOVE the around the horn segment. It’s my favorite since it gives a quick update on many current legal issues. I’m sad it’s discontinued!!

Do you think the Dems and Judge Juan Merchan have planned to sentence Pres. Trump before the inauguration to sabotage him by claiming it is illegitimate to have a convicted criminal president? That’s what I think. The Dems are so underhanded and devious.

Never a Waste of time. I added Mr. Hammer to regular viewing of many of The Blaze shows and Dan Bongino live every day. Rounds out truthful assessment of the most important information. World view and God held up. We need more lawyers, attorneys holding the Constitution up.

I listen everyday for courtroom news and legal opinions. There is nothing in your podcast that fits the description “Around The Horn”. Shambolic. The new word of the day? Not sure it really fits the Trump trial situation. An actual sham, yes. A farce, yes. An attack on the Constitution and the American justice system, definitely yes. But shambolic, not so much.

When a lot of public opinion is just sad and stupid dumb etc , is nice to hear people that still make sense,just and intelligent, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the great coverage of SCOTUS and politically charged cases against Donald Trump. Now I have a question, regarding the lawfare that has become a feature of our justice and political systems… When Donald Trump is convicted of just one felony, how will that affect the General Election ballots? Will Trump remain on any of them? Senator Ted Cruz has said that all 50 States will likely remove Donald Trump’s name from the ballot in response to his becoming a felon. Then Trump only recourse will be to mount an epic right-in campaign.

Josh, I did leave five stars because I always listen and enjoy your podcast. Today, for the first time, I might disagree with you on an issue. Perhaps you could readdress this and explain further at some point. I am a staunch supporter of President Trump, but that has no bearing on my take about this bill. I don't and never have been a user of TikTok and neither does my only remaining teenager. I certainly do agree with the fact that it is not an issue of free speech. Here is my issue. It is only plugging a hole. There already are, and probably will be again, apps that are connected with the CCP which are available in the United States. Also, there already are, and probably will be again, apps that poorly influence our children. I feel that singling out TikTok is not enough, does not entirely address the issue, and - by not doing so - sets a bad precedent for future lawmaking. Social media users need to meet age requirements, and app data collection altogether needs to stop. I don't care if that means they're no longer free of charge. If they're not free, perhaps kids will use them less and adults will reevaluate their need for them. I don't want or need an app to anticipate my thoughts or what I want to peruse. The app industry has gotten way out of hand. I do not believe this bill will accomplish the desired outcome at all.

This show is not fluff. It tells the truth. I heard Josh Hammer on the Steve Deace show. Smart guy. When I heard he was starting this podcast, I had to listen. It quickly became my first listen each day. I get an honest read before listening to the more opinion-based shows. I use it like an appendix, or a glossary for the other shows. Great listen! 5 stars, because 6 is against the rules.

So informative. Simple. Legal speak is so convoluted and you break it all down fairly. Love this cast. Heard you with Bill O'Reilly was so intrigued I immediately took up your cast. You have not disappointed. Well done.

Much needed and brilliant.

My background is that I was a prosecutor for 30 years of my 48 year legal career; 5 years as a city prosecutor; 3 years as a County Prosecutor (overlapped with my time as an Assistant D.A); 10 years as an Assistant District Attorney; and 15 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. So I have a few comments about the podcast on 2/15/24. I have never voted for a Democrat for national office, particularly never for President. I contributed to Trump’s last two campaigns and expect to do so again. That said… The fact that Alvin Bragg communicated with federal officials about the time his case goes to trial is not unusual. Both as a state prosecutor, and as a federal prosecutor, I would communicate with prosecutors in other jurisdictions to coordinate trials. I don’t see any reason to criticize him for that. Likewise, information was shared by our office when possible(sometimes it could not be shared because of court order or being grand jury testimony). Also, with respect the affair involving the DA in Georgia and her “Special” Assistant DA, they should remove themselves from the case immediately. If not, IF there is someone vested with the power to remove them (such as the Attorney General or the Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court), they should act immediately. Their presence taints the case. But the case should stand or fall on its own. I believe you are correct in thinking that the case would not likely be tried by the time of this year’s election. I listen to your show daily, and I encourage others to do so. There is no other podcast that does the work you do.

I’m not a lawyer, and therefore I would not normally have information such as presented in this podcast available to me. The fact that it’s all there, up-to-date, and presented in a manner that I can understand not being a lawyer is very valuable. I highly recommend this podcast.

Not too short and not too long, this podcast sums up relevant legal issues in the country and goes a little in depth with one without taking up your whole day. Well done.

Very helpful for keeping up with the Trump

I first caught this on the PDB podcast and was instantly hooked. Josh gives great coverage to a fascinating range of topics. He makes this complex & arcane topic accessible to average (non-lawyerly) folks, while still giving you the nuance you need to understand the arguments being made.

Don’t worry about finding a guest to give a supposed counter point. If I want any counter point to reason I can listen to any of the alphabet media including FOX. There is enough ignorance available. So DO NOT bother with any counter point.

I like what you’re doing, but I would like to see you have on a qualified guest offering a counter viewpoint. Needs to be someone who can support their position legally rather than emotionally. Maybe someone like Alan Dershowich.

Looking for smart legal analysis? This ain’t it. He’s all opinion with very, very little to back it up. Listening to this guy is like watching NEWSMAX.
