Loved these guys years ago when they were about the only podcast out there talking Badger football. But they aren’t the only ones now. I love their passion and commitment but reality is they just aren’t very good or terribly knowledgeable compared to other pods out there now. They shoulda stayed “retired”. P.S. please stop laughing really hard at stuff that isn’t funny.

I want to listen to Badger sports. I dont want to listen to someones disdain for Elon because he once said he may vote conservative🙄. I want sports, not politics or your liberal agenda.

These guys are funny. Laid back podcast, lots of humor. It’s a little bit Sconnie in a good way. Most of the other podcasts are serious so this a refreshing departure. Love the banter...this from a flat lander Badger. On Wisconsin!

Listened to the BYU and Iowa podcasts. Hosts are knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to.

Good podcast for anyone into Badger football.

This podcast is a must listen for any serious Badger football fan. It is hosted by two fans who I would say are at least 2-3 degrees separated from the program itself who provide Badger football commentary from a perspective very similar to those of us listening. They are obviously both big badger fans, but they also always have a healthy debate about the state of the program.

The name of the show is BuckAround. What more do you need!?!?!? :-) Matt Wisconsin!!

Regular pod listener of all genres and follower of all things Wisconsin football. Buckaround is the best Wisconsin football pod out there and I’ve listened to them all. The guys bring a good balance to the table - with Rich reminding you to keep your hopes as a badger fan in check and Max letting you dream a bit. Really get in the weeds of what’s going on with the team. If that’s your thing, you should absolutely become a regular listener

I finally figured out how to leave comments on iTunes. (Yeah, I know...genius.) Fell in love with this podcast a few years ago. Rich and Max seem like old friends at this point. They're the perfect compliment to my passion for Badger football. Keep up the good work. Tom on a Train

I love listening to independent sites. Their hearts are in it. Rich and Max do a tremendous job.

I have been listening for a year now and this is a great podcast not only during the season and also during the offseason. Max and Rich know their stuff, conversation is fun and easy going, lots of good guests. Recommend it to all Badger fans.

I just finished my first season of listening and can honestly say that this is the most informative & enjoyable of the various college football podcasts I began listening to. The commentary provided by both Rich and Max is excelllent and is truly geared towards Badger football fans. These guys are very supportive of the UW football program as one would expect, but never shy away from offering criticism where warranted. More than anything else, I find that they dive pretty deep into the program and offer information about the team that I don't come across anywhere else. I also like that they both take the time to acknowledge and respond to emails and messages from their listeners. Highly recommended!

Richard and Max are very entertaining to listen to and extremely knowledgeable UW fans. You may even hear a Lance Smith reference or two.

The Buckaround is the perfect podcast for FANS of the Badgers. Rich and Max actually share the mindset of the majority of Badger fans, ranging from the self loathing to the casual armchair cheerleader. The hosts cut through the overly repetitive media stories and actually come to conclusions that I believe are in total agreement with the Badger faithful. Great balance of analyzing game performances, with the right amount of fun/off the field topics as well (touching on recruiting, the B1G landscape (and Northern Illinois), etc). The two hosts are wonderfully contrasting in personalities, opinions on the Badgers, and affection for the B1G as a whole (ahem, Iowa). Highly recommended from this Badger alum!

Been listening since the summer. It’s a good podcast. I like Rich’s take on most things Wisconsin Football. He’s not irrationally biased. Definitely not a glass half empty view either. Then there’s Max... He’s fair to midland. Just kidding. Where Rich is patently wrong, Max is right on. Their Ying and Yang views makes their bro-mance work well. I’ll keep listening. I might consider buying them a beer if they ever came to St. Louis.

Started listening after the Iowa game in 2014 and have been hooked ever since. Its like listening to your more well-informed friends talk Badger football…from analysis of the opponents, to depth chart discussions, they’ve got you covered. They will also throw in some Northern Illinois and Iowa hot takes just for good measure. A great listen, recommended to any college football fan!

I’ve been listening for a year now and its truly a phonemail production all things considered. The pod is informative and entertaining. I keep up with Wisconsin blogs as well but this is my favorite source for Wisconsin football analysis. 2 tips: #1 stop listening to games on the radio-its 2015. #2 Expand to Wisconsin basketball please

I found this podcast about halfway through the 2014 season. From that point on, I have listened every week. The chemistry between Rich and Max is excellent, and it is always entertaining when they get off topic. Their knowledge of Wisconsin football is extensive, and I have learned a lot about recruiting and the big picture of Wisconsin football. Finally, Rich has an interesting laugh.

Getting geared up for football season is great listening to these two’s subjective and objective viewpoints while staying grounded and honest with themselves and the audience.

Rich and Max do an awesome job of dissecting all things Badger Football. They also do an outstanding job of keeping the conversation around Badger Football going year round. Their offseason content is fantastic with guest like Evan Flood discussing recruiting to rival BigTen Schools discussing the upcoming season outlook. If you are a Badger Fan this is a can't miss podcast and you should download ASAP!

Love this pod. The hosts are great and objective. They provide great information without taking themselves too seriously. I also learned about something called the MAC where they also apparently play football.

Rich and Max do an excellent job of providing objective analysis of Wisconsin football from a fan's perspective. They play off each other well and are entertaining all the way through. They also offer more than simply opinion, going the extra mile to find guests with insight on either Wisconsin's program or an upcoming opponent. This podcast comes highly recommended.

You should probably be listening to this podcast. Personally, I’m not much of a podcast guy, but after listening to Branch and Brusky I thought maybe I was. So I thought I’d check out some other Badger podcasts…..Couldn’t even make it through an episode of the other stuff….it’s the Buckaround and nothing else!

These guys do a great job of creating an easy-to-listen-to Badgers football podcast experience w/o any unnecessary flare or annoyances. The audio quality is very good, as are their guests and topics. I get valuable information about Badgers stats, history and players, and would strongly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Badger Football.

So much of sports media glosses over the intricacies of football and the mechanics of the offense and defense. These guys actually try to explain the purpose and objectives behind the X’s and O’s. Real quality stuff, keep up the good work!

As a season ticket holder, I need my Badger football fix during the off-season! This podcast gives me all the updates I need whether it be recruiting, predictions, etc. Even though they are Badger fans, it's good to hear what they are concerned about with the team. It's not all about how good the team will be this coming year! Awesome show guys!
