LindaMizAnother update 3/20 (2024) …4/18/25Great ChatGPT advice!!! Thank you♥️ I can relate to the noise ( and adhd) thing…and it makes it okay ♥️- especially sleeping with noise …. And it’s so true about being in silence once in awhile and feeling the peace and presence… Thanks again for your pod! Update 3/20 /23?- thanks for your transparency and honesty… Laughing out loud at the November 11th episode…( it was saved on my list along with a few others…) Been listening to your Pod for years…♥️

alwaysaworkinprogressI usually love this show but NOT THIS EPISODECharlene just said you should not think about something for more than 2 minutes - let Ai do it for you. That is incredibly dangerous! Can Ai help? Absolutely! Should it “think” for you? Absolutely not! Ai is programmed and updated by other human beings and even if you “train it” to think like you do it’s subtle suggestions can train YOU slowly to think like it, which means like its creator/ updater. God did not create us to be unthinking machines. Use Ai but do not let it use you.

chris f dunnLoveI wish I could give this podcast a 10 star. I’m 51 and got Chat GPT last week. I was so confused but this podcast helped me out a lot. Thank you
-
72bankBestieI love Chalene’s show. Never met but been working out together for about 20 years and so glad to have this avenue now to stay informed into my new stages of life and health. Chalene is so relatable on many different levels ❤️
-
brsnjrsSo fun and this podcast puts me in a good moodListening to Chalene is fun and I look forward to every episode! She tells it like it is and is authentic and she really cares about her listeners - that comes across. No lies and lots of fun!
-
AllieWest💗Love it!Charlene is fun to listen to. I just love her vibe and values. She keeps it real with no shame for wanting to be your most optimized self!
-
BeenaturalhnAlways look forward to New Episodes!I love this podcast and look forward to listening while I’m getting ready in the morning. I especially love the episodes that focus on anything having to do with menopause and aging. The latest episode about protein really piqued my interest. I just heard a podcast with Dr Stacy Sims about the same thing. CHALENE, if you have the opportunity to interview her, don’t pass it up! She is an exercise physiologist, nutrition scientist, author, and women's health and fitness advocate. She has studied protein AND exercise and has a different view about Zone 2 cardio. Very interesting! Keep up the great work, Chalene! Brenda

Mountain mama69Love her!She is the real deal. I love listening to her talk about how to be better.
-
LulujacChalene is the real dealI love how open and honest Chalene is about EVERYTHING! The latest episode where she asks what how women feel brought tears to my eyes when taking about menopause. I agree with all the statements!!! Chalene talks open and truthful about what we are afraid to talk about. She gives great advice and I love that she speaks her truth always. Thanks for being there for us navigating this next chapter in our lives!!
-
TCQ777Thank you! Charlene.Thank you very much for sharing your real stories in each episode, and the topics you share with the guests. I have learned a lot about health or some obstacles encountered in life from your sharing, which has brought me a lot of positive energy. I hope that one day I can meet you in person and chat with you in person and share life stories!
-
Texas PalSo grateful for Chalene!I love how real Chalene is! (Not only do I still enjoy her PiYo videos) I love listening to her podcast- the guests she has brought on to discuss the topic of menopause and HRT have been especially insightful!
-
A.l.HahnBetter looking toe shoes!100% yes on getting better looking toe shoes! Please use your influence and friendship to make this happen. I would spend the insane amount of money on them if they covered the toe with something to hide it. Thanks!

Big mama1985Super BowlShe’s a pick me and tries so very hard. Lost me w tasteless superbowl pod, white privilege at its finest

Stephanie H-The BESTI freaking love Chalene and while I listen to several other podcasts regularly this is the one that trumps all others. I just love her authenticity, humor, and just realness. She says so many things that we all think but don’t say! Listening to her feels like listening to a good friend. Plus she keeps me on top of all the new beauty hacks/trends, and celebrity gossip. I’m a Patreon member and she’s my only follow on there but those episodes are even better. Thanks Chalene for keeping me entertained!
-
zebramaddyGirl! You inspire!I have been following Chalene for years! She keeps it real. I love her humor, confidence and honesty. It’s like listening to your friend. I learn something new and leave each podcast with a fresh out look and pep in my step. Thanks for all you do, Chalene!
-
HappytoagebutPlenty of good informationI thoroughly enjoy Charlene’s podcast and find the information helpful, inspiring and she is entertaining, as well. I almost always learn something new!

La Misi ✨NatiHappy Birthday B!@+<#Chalene Johnson isn’t just a podcast host …she’s like that incredible friend who kicks your butt and hugs you at the same time. Her show has been my personal lifeline through thick and thin. Her raw honesty mixed with infectious energy makes me laugh, cry, and actually want to improve my life. When she shares her own messy moments, it feels like permission to be beautifully imperfect while still chasing a fabulous life.Seriously, one episode can transform your entire week. Pure magic. ✨
-
nei06360Thank you for talking WITH usChalene has the amazing quality of talking WITH her audience vs talking AT her audience. She makes you feel like you are having a conversation with a bff while sharing valuable wellness information and an instant connection is formed. The delivery of her message is never a lecture or coming from a pedestal; This is why I can listen to hours & hours of CJ !!! P.S. Thanks for helping me with FOMA. Couldn’t have done it without you & SO happy I did. 🥳🥳🥳. XO

Roxy80sMostly a commercialI don’t know if it’s always been like this but lately it’s more of an ad podcast. All I hear is her commercials for sponsors. It such a short podcast for so many ads
-
Book mom 5371Kendra Adachi is the Lazy Genius!!You can’t steal someone’s work. Kendra Adachi has books and an incredible podcast and years of hard work under the Lazy Genius name. I thought you had her as a guest. Stop relying on AI to write your summaries for you.
-
Lexibee3Things have changedThis is not the same podcast anymore. I don’t know if it’s Bret’s influence, or something else at play, but something has changed. Chalene has left behind what made her such an inspiration and instead has embraced becoming another older woman influencer desperately trying to become a Real Housewife. I’m not interested in this anymore.
-
EurekaMarijkaWow… THE ADS !!Came back to listen after a yr or so, and OMG the freaking ads every few minutes!! Yes, free to us; yes, Chalene and all creators deserve to make money from their efforts. But, good grief, it’s a battle to follow the presentation when you’re interrupting it repeatedly!! Couldn’t walk away so I could jump on the fast forward. And don’t even think about suggesting they be grouped at the beginning or end, because they’re there, too! So while the content is AMAZING, I guess I’ll just check in again in late 2025 … :-(
-
dahoneydiptxNot feeling itFirst time listener, I really felt like you were out of your league talking about the Jay Z case. You tried to pass the “Uncle Luke” vid and some secretive and damming video and info when that video BEEN around for decades. People who know that culture knows what Uncle Luke was all about. Then you go in rambling about phones etc etc. this was a really hard listen and suggest sticking to the rivers and lakes that you’re use to.

paige dmUsed to loveI used to love listening to the CHALENE show. I am a 29F and I’ve been listening for about two years. In the beginning I think I found Charlene when she was talking about the plastic surgery or maybe a little bit before that. But over the years, I’ve realized that she finds topics that she gravitates towards, and then talks about them obsessively for two months and moves onto the next thing. Some of the examples I can think of is the plastic surgery nightmare, Beachbody, ADHD, Rachel , and Dave Hollis, and the list goes on. I used to literally never not miss an episode, and now she’s almost so spacey that it takes you 15 minutes to get into the actual content. I did the free trial of the vault and prefer those episodes but I’m not justifying paying for it.
-
hairbyninakBreathe of fresh airAs a 33-year-old small business owner, I look up to you, Chalene. You’re the American mom I never had (my mom is Russian). I admire how you weave your stories with your life experiences and wisdom. Your brutal honesty resonates with me, and I absolutely love it! Thank you for your authenticity; it truly shines through in your podcasts. I love you, and I mean it. Your faithful listener, Nina Tucker

-
5643trlLove the showChalene is just one of those people you can’t help but adore. She’s super funny and smart. Her stories are entertaining.
-
MichelleRNFalse infoFrance has socialized medicine ~ they have time and free education if you merit it- that’s why it was better. Natural doesn’t mean not poisonous. Europe isn’t America- maybe the way we treat dogs seems weird to them. I just can’t anymore- was a lifer for years but t anything that goes against the narrative du jour gets cancelled. On latest episode- being left alone- Wierd
-
KrisRP80I love Chalene!I have loved Chalene since her Beachbody days! I could listen to her talk about anything . This is the only podcast that isn’t true crime related that I continue to listen to!!
-
Meg831The words I needed to hearThank you for your encouraging and kind words in your recent episode about the changing with Bodi. I’ve never been apart of an MLM but your words at the end of the episode were exactly what I needed. Your podcast has kept me company while I pack up my home after being blindsided by a divorce after 15 years. This is my promotion and I know better days are ahead for myself and my daughter.
-
DLsmiles79Not what it used to beChalene used to be so inspiring and informative but the podcast has changed or Chalene has changed… seems so out of touch now, pushy, always selling something and act like she knows it all and everything else is wrong or ewww.
-
ErinakageriNot what it used to beLong time listener but I’m done with her and Bret. Chalene has changed. Always trying to sell something. I used to feel inspired by her podcasts and it’s just different now. Feeding the bears in WY ticked me off. Ignorant. She did an entire podcast to brag about her husband giving a designer sweatshirt to a homeless person. And then she seemed agitated that the homeless person didn’t know how expensive the sweatshirt was. Now she is on a sober journey after years of saying she only drank the occasional Dry Farms wine. She’ll do anything to make money. So gross.

pamelajpruittHeavy LiftingThank you! Thank you! Saved my life.

Joy fitAlcholLoved your honesty and all the information. Day 1! 🎈🙌
-
ErreyicaOpen book ❤️Chalene- thank you so much for sharing your story regarding your journey & discovery around alcohol. I myself am considering my relationship around alcohol as well. I have been following you since the beach body days and I can’t tell you how much knowledge and empowerment I’ve received from you. This episode came at the perfect time for me. Thank you for always being an open book & for your vulnerability. You truly change lives ❤️. Much love & respect, Erica
-
Minnesota gurl <3 ;)Day 2! 😍👏🏻Wow, your podcast came at a great time for me! I too have found myself drinking too much again, using all the same excuses…I too am not saying I’m quitting forever but taking a break sounds easier. Sunday I have a family bike trip planned, all around a brewery we went to last year and I’m gonna allow myself one beer! I need to figure out what my relationship is with alcohol as well. Unlike your situation, my husband is a chef and I love to cook! So drinking has always complemented our meals. It’s definitely going to be a hard road for a bit, but I need to feel better. ❤️🩹 Wishing you all best in your journey as well!
-
rlp2175Always the best content - practical with humor!Love Chalene and the podcast for so many reasons! Peri/menopause, strong is healthy, finance, and just real life (like, how people look at you a little differently when you’re in flats and they only know you in heels 😂🙋🏻♀️). The necessary reminder — we are SMART and should do the research (thank you, Chalene for doing it for me!) and make our OWN INFORMED decisions — about life!! ❤️ One of most recent podcast on money matters and financial literacy (along with Bret’s program!) should be required listening. New ways to think / consider how many of us have been conditioned to think about money in so many ways 🧠💲
-
AmyacpaReally gone downhillBackground noise in the 7/17 podcast is super distracting. Dishes crashing around, people talking etc. Just the latest in the decline in quality. The true crime element is so off brand as is the stereotypical rich American abroad behavior. The podcast was so much better when Chalene stuck to her strengths and Bret was elsewhere.
-
Vrc3663Obsessed!I am sooo happy I became a follower of Chalene! The positive impact she had made on my life, my health makes me beyond grateful! My mindset had a reset for sure. Love the fun day to day stuff, and all the education and guests. Dr Vonda Wright-my favorite guest so far. Thank you for your contribution to my life! 💞
-
josielovesfitnessThe big sister I always wanted!I’ve been listening to you since episode 1 and learned so much from parenting, marriage, menopause, taking care of an aging parent and so much more! Love your podcast especially the we walk Wednesday episodes. You are down to earth and so funny! You have inspired me in so many ways I want to thank you! 💛My husband (of 28 years) and are are finally in the season of traveling too! Can’t wait to do Europe one day!
-
Believer in Christ the SaviorLoooooovvvvveeeeee so much!My girl Chalene has the best life advice in general. She’s so raw and funny. I love her voice! I am a vaultie and Patreon is so worth the cost! Hours of entertainment and education that we all need. I love Charlene’s voice, it’s so good for just easy listening and when you need some motivation. Love you Chalene and Bret!!!!
-
DanceBossYou Rock!Anything you do you do with excellence, humility and are so authentic. Thank you for being you and using your gifts to impact the world.

BigRed_40May 31 Episode - Lifer UpdateMay 31 episode - we have been patiently waiting for you to do something. I have grown with you. I’m glad you’re giving Phase It Up facelift and focusing on women in perimenopause/menoupause. I’m going through it and you giving us a voice and your research is very helpful. Please take your time in putting up your workout videos. We waited this long therefore we can wait a little longer 🤗 ☺️💗 Lifer Jeannie Vadillo

CadillacShellLove this show!I recently found this show and channel. Being post menopausal and over 50, her tips on fitness and nutrition are so helpful!
-
megldiOne of my favorite humansFound Chalene through PiYo in high school and have loved her ever since. There is no topic she could talk about that I would feel bored listening to!! Thankful for her contribution to my health journey, positive outlook on life, and just overall sharing of knowledge!!
-
ashley ffJust here to sellI’ve tried to listen to gain some knowledge, but each and every topic only boils down to what she can sell me to make herself money. I’m out.
-
danazuzuSo much loveI just discovered Chalene 2 weeks ago and she is my new best friend. Her personality is so genuine and her advice is solid! Love everything about her! Thank you girlfriend!!!
