    Occasionally informative
I started listening to this when I began DH school I thought it would be useful to keep up with DH products and the profession. I started to realize the host Andrew is constantly putting his personal opinion and not really shining a positive impact on the DH profession, prefer to listen to episodes when it’s other hosts

    Don’t waste your time
This podcast is horrible. 3 hygienists talking over each other and can’t even pronounce words correctly. 🤦🏼‍♀️unnecessary cussing all just makes you sound unprofessional. Don’t waste your time.

    Absolutely Love
I have been a hygienist for while and love what I do. I am new listening to this podcast and I am so glad I found it. I listen on my drives to work and kid functions. It helps to keep me updated on what’s happening in the hygiene world and it’s fun. I even send some of the podcast to my hygiene Divas txt group. Update- The Hygiene Diva txt group still loves Tale of Two Hygienist ❤️

    ATOTH all day everyday
I haven’t decided in what order I want to listen. I definitely started with their latest episodes and got so invested that I went all the way back to 2015 when they were “off the cusp”. Either way I’m definitely a completist and look forward learning so much on the way. It’s become a part of my everyday and I’m not mad about it! It just brings so much value, no matter where you are in the profession.

    Can’t stop listening !
I recently got into listening to podcasts, & I am so glad I started listening to ATOTH. There is SO much valuable information. The last episode about animal oral care was my absolute favorite! I could’ve sat there listening for hours hearing the vets talk about animals teeth. I myself have a golden retriever who luckily lets me scale his teeth so his teeth are always pearly white & clean! But in all seriousness, this podcast is really great for all types of hygienists, students & others in the dental world who just love to learn. There is not an episode that goes by that you won’t learn something, I promise !

I love these podcasts. Aside from getting topical, intelligent information relating to our field, Michelle and Andrew fill a gigantic hygienist void. They are the forum that unites us all. If you are not fortunate enough to work with outstanding colleagues, Michelle and Andrew are always near by. Please keep it coming!

AToTH: Your go to DH podcast!
Three years ago, I was in search of further knowledge in the dental hygiene career field. I discovered the A Tale of Two Hygienists podcast and a year later I began working with Michelle & Andrew as a part of their AToTH team. I am always amazed by not only the topics but also the quality, the content, and the expertise of the guests they interview. Regardless of your professional position or experience, there is always something to gain from and be inspired by in every episode. Michelle and Andrew are examples of what hard work and dedication can achieve. They provide entertaining episodes as well as offer free continuing education courses. Michelle and Andrew have dedicated the time to encourage and provide information to dental professionals and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such talented colleagues. Spreading information across the dental field is one of the most important things we can do as healthcare professionals.

Proud to be part of the AToTH team!
This one is long overdue, but now that I have worked for Andrew and Michelle for over a year I feel I can truly add my two cents about their podcast! Every profession would be lucky to have a podcast as informative as AToTH for their specific field. Having seen the amount of hard work that goes on behind the scenes to plan, record and bring all this amazing content to the table, I can tell you it takes a village! Having Michelle and Andrew as not only my bosses, but mentors over the past year has been a blessing. When you work for people that are good, and care about doing good for their profession it is really special and inspirational. Keep up the good work guys!!

    Loyal listener for years
I have listened to a tale of two hygienists for years! I find the high quality information to be essential for to help me guide my continuing education and stay abreast of emerging science and trends in the industry. The topics have lead me to learn more about implant care, myofunctional therapy, patient communication, infection control, motivational interviewing and so much more! I love that many of the episodes have CE credits available and that I can listen in my own time and my own way. I am grateful for Michelle and my my fellow west coast guygienist Andrew for the work that goes into creating amazing content with a fun delivery.

    Learning continues
Hi, Covid -19 has had me out of work since early March, I am thankful to be home and have some time to spend with my family until it is safe to go back to work. Along with helping my son with schoolwork and catching up with projects I never had time for, I also plug in to my favorite dental podcast to keep my mind in the field, so when it’s time to return to work, I will be ready, and educated. Thank you guys for always keeping your episodes current and keeping me in the “dental now”. !!!

    Love it!!!!!
I am currently a dental hygiene student- Class of 2020. I am so glad that I started listening to you guys. You have challenged me to be a better hygienist by always learning and pursuing further education and not to just be complacent. You cover a lot of good topics and have good interviews. I tell people about this podcast all the time.

Wow! Not only do I appreciate everything I listen to on ATOTH now I won a MouthWatch intraoral camera. I have some home bound patients and this would be beneficial for the practice I work for to keep up with their oral care. Keep providing us with the current topics that keep us at the cutting edge of dental hygiene.

    Invaluable Info!
I have been meaning to leave a review on my favorite dental podcast for years now! Hygiene school gave me the means to pass my boards and become a proficient, licensed hygienist. Michelle and Andrew's highly curated content, passion, and guest speakers truly lit my fire for the profession of dental hygiene and beyond. The knowledge they equip their listeners with is not only elevating the profession but ultimately allowing the best care to be provided for the patients on the receiving end! I am encouraged to want to do better and be better (even though I consistently feel overwhelmed by all I don't know and how to apply it daily lol). Thank you for your unprecedented and tireless contribution to the dental hygiene field!

The perfect way to avoid burn out
This podcast as the perfect way to stay educated on topics surrounding dentistry and life. I can take what I learn in each episode right into my operatory to help and educate my patients. This podcast has opened my eyes to all that is out there in our career field and it keeps me excited to be in the dental world.

    Love the education
I love what you are doing here! A very comprehensive, multiple disciplined dental education. I am a dental assistant, who is married to a dentist who has joined an airway/breathing company called Vivos. Their website is vivoslife.com. I listened to your podcast with Dr. William Hang and if you loved what he had to say, I suggest you look up Dr. David Singh DMD PhD DDSc. He’s a brilliant orthodontist who has written a book about the epigenetic in adult orthodontics. He has a new way to achieve natural jaw development, and airway remodeling through craniofacial enhancement. Not only are these Vivos dentists growing, widening and expanding jaws, they are changing and saving lives one airway at a time. My own 8 year old daughter just started treatment for sleep apnea and severe crowding. There is so much more I can say about this....check it out! You’ll be glad you did.

    perfection in a podcast
hi Michelle and Andrew! just wanted to give you both a big “thank you” for continuing to deliver amazing content with humor and enthusiasm. i am a hygienist who recently transitioned from a private practice to a public health environment. For the first time in five years of practicing hygiene, I am the solo hygienist at my workplace. Working as the only RDH in my office left me feeling less supported initially. but- your podcast helps me to stay engaged, passionate, and current (and i also feel a sense of connection and camaraderie after listening to each episode). thank you for being supporters and advocates for our profession - you two are great. keep up the amazing work. <3 - Lauren

    GREAT podcast!
This review is long overdue and I want to start by personally thanking Michelle and Andrew for their time, commitment and passion in bringing the dental hygiene community such a high quality, relevant and much needed podcast! No matter where you’re at in your dental hygiene career or what position you fill in your dental office, there is something here for you; all of the “big names” in our profession are here; from the seasoned veterans to the up and comers and they’re very generous with their vast amount of knowledge. Thank you both again, I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years and every podcast has helped me become a better hygienist and has re-ignited my enthusiasm for dental hygiene! And to all of my fellow listeners to this podcast: if you haven’t yet written a review please consider “paying it forward” for Andrew and Michelle. It is very easy to do!

Relevant interviews relating to all aspects of dental hygiene
Wonderful interviews with prestigious professionals within dental hygiene. Love the wealth and breath of knowledge. However, on the flip side, focus should be more on the interviewee rather than the interviewer. Teeters on unprofessional at times by cutting the interviewee off to interject the interviewers opinions and or random thoughts. Let him or her finish their point before interrupting. While I appreciate the engaging conversation, it’s rude to intervene. The segment prior to the actual interview is long-winded. Don’t get me wrong, i still listen often, but, in my opinion, the podcast could be more succinct.
